The norths, both AFC and NFC, should be 1 and 2 plain and simple
My words exactly before I clicked on this video. Stupid list.
AFC North disrespect is wild. Most competitive division in the league.
By far
Agreed
Compared to NFC North? No.
@enragedfurbie128 that is a joke. The AFC north had all 5 teams with winning records. The NFC north isn't close.
@@thebuster3430 5 teams? Ok 😂
Every year they say the Chargers are going to challenge for the AFC West and every year they finish 3rd.
They should be 2nd this year. Broncos and Raiders fighting for last place
@@ryanwilliams174lol
Those other years were because of the talent they had on the roster. Coaching screwed them up. This year it's because of Jim Harbaugh who has 100% success rate in turning losing football teams into winners. There's a difference.
The Charger couldn't win the Pac 10.
@@ryanwilliams174Cmon bro Tell me the facts as to why the Raiders will be competing for last place and don’t tell me that bullshit they don’t have a quarterback that was last years excuse and it didn’t work I need a new reason and if not I’m gonna drag you
Not AFC North? .... not top 5... *loss of respect* .... it is arguably #1,... no way not top 5.
Absolutely embarrassing
AFC North and East should be quite good with the Pats trailing a bit. Everyone in the AFC North can beat anyone in the league.
Yeah, the 2 north divisions are the toughest easily.
This wasn’t about the 5 best divisions but the 5 that Tom was interested in following.
Would've saved 10 minutes if I scrolled down earlier
He didn’t include the only division where every team could win 10 games.
Waste of a segment.
1. NFC North (every team is going for at the minimum of 9 wins)
2. AFC North (Who knows whatll happen)
3. AFC South (Titans the only meh team, everyone else should be decent)
4. NFC West (actually interesting to see how arizona and seattle will compete this year)
5. AFC East (patriots will be bad)
6. AFC West (broncos and raiders and chargers not confirmed to be any good)
7. NFC South (panthers and saints will be bad)
8. NFC East (giants and commanders and possibly the cowboys will be meh)
This right here. Although I'd switch NFC East and South. I don't think the Falcons will be as good as their roster suggests.
@@TheForbiddenOne55 Stop using braindead internet speak. Don't turn into artificial intelligence any more than you already have.
@@Kube_Dog .... which part of my comment was "braindead" internet speak again?
@@TheForbiddenOne55 Oh, boy, you can't see it? You're too far gone already.
Congratulations, get yourself a TV show!!! In the meantime, this dude is excited to watch something else and doesn't give af about what you're excited about.
Not having AFC North top 5 is absolutely absurd. Best Division in football.
Maybe. QB issues are real. Lamar can make or break you. Watson is ???? Burrow needs to finish the season, and who's the Steelers answer besides Tomlin?
No. Over-rated media bullsh-t division with hyped a-holes all over the place.
1. AFC north 2. NFC north 3. AFC east 4. NFC west 5. AFC west 6. NFC south 7. NFC east 8. AFC South
1.NFC North 2.AFC North...
Lions will take the crown this time... make KC Swifties and Kermit Mahomes go away. You're welcome.
😊
AFC North is the only legitimate division where any of the team might win. How can it not be mentioned. Three of their teams were in the playoffs last year. C'mon!
NFC North should also be that competitive too. I think the Vikings could win it but obviously they are likely to be last.
AFC North is easily the best division race, and it’s not even close.
NFC North
All 4 AFC North teams finished with a winning record last year. But okay.
AFC North. All of those teams have retooled in some form to make deep runs in the playoffs.
AFC North is the most interesting division, NFC North is second. SMH
AFC SOUTH WILL BE ONE OF THE TOP DIVISIONS
I second this
Both South divisions are highly noncompetitive lol
@@trogdor20X6 What lol! The AFC South was decided by week 18. There were 3 teams with 9+ wins. The Colts did not have Anthony Richardson. Obviously, the NFC South is a joke.
@@trogdor20X6you are stuck in 2022 bud, in 2023 the AFC South was one of the best divisions in football and ALL the teams only gotten better this offseason.
Not if Richardson get hurt
HOW is the afc north not top 2?!?!
I would say...
1) NFC North (because I'm biased)
2) AFC North
3) AFC South
4) NFC West
5) AFC East
I'm curious because I'm also NFC North "Biased", who's your team? I am a Vikings fan and here's how I see the division at the end of this season. 1- Lions 2- Vikings 3- Packers 4- Bears.
Picked the least competitive division in the NFL you’ve got to be kidding me
And that’s your opinion 😂
...AFC North...not a team under .500 last year...
And only one win from 3 teams in the playoffs.
Pathetic
Hahahaha that Applebee's bit was fantastic!!! Specially the ending 😂😂😂chefs kiss👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾
Afc south and north should be on this.
If the Chiefs play the Chargers in week 18 then there's a far greater chance Mahomes is being rested for the post season than the division title is on the line.
Should have just ranked all 8, it isn't much more effort 😅
Brockman casually saying he has a problem with gambling is both sad and hilarious at the same time. Hope you get it figured out Chris. Youre awesome
Leaving AFCN off invalidates the list
TJ giving a thumbs up to the camera gives off the biggest “Brought to you by Carl’s Jr.” energy. 😂
Tge AFC North is the only one they can't predict the winner cuzz all 4 teams are solid! This dude is stupid for not putting the AFC North 1st in this list, u can literally pick the winners of the other 7 divisions fairly accurately rn bit nobody knows whats gonna happen in the AFC but im betting on Cleveland this year! Its our year!
Tom is a great repacemnt
Tom seems so loose and comfortable with this show! He's really good at telling stories and he bantered with Brockman a bit!
Top 5 divisions to watch are afc north, afc south, afc east, nfc north then nfc south in that order. All these divisions have teams all relatively close to each other all taking steps forward if you disagree you simply don’t know ball.
I agree with HALF of what Tom said regarding Brandon Staley: he was young.
Iv'e always wanted to know what the music in the background is called and whether it's just an NFL creation. I want to find it on spotify, if anyone knows the name please lmk. I remember playing madden 05 career and fanchise mode with that song in the background and it always gets me pumped up
The afc north actually has some interesting stories this year too. Odd to leave them out.
The division that everyone knows who’s going to win as #1, and the best division in football is left out…And it’s not even April Fools…wow
tf? why is it exciting to watch the chiefs win against more sub-par competition?
AFC north has been decided by a combined 5 games the last 4 years put together
The AFC North fall off the face of the Earth or something? They are debatably the most interesting division every single year
The accurate divisional races are as follows, dunno what Pelissero is on about:
1. AFC North
2. NFC North
3. AFC East
4. NFC West
5. AFC South
AFC South is going to be a very interesting division
NFC North might be the best in the league this year. Lions and Pack showed up last year. The Vikes had Kirk go down while saving their season, and Da Bears are making some serious strides. AFC North can go sideways in a hurry but same chance of balling out.
AFC North and South are both top 3 on this list
AFCS is gonna be must watch
what about the strongest division in the NFL the AFC North, ravens are always strong, bangels are strong, browns are strong and then pit common man
5 because there are only 8.
what a gutsy take.
I’m a Chiefs fan but the AFC west is not going to be the most competitive. The Chargers lost their top two WR’s and RB. They aren’t challenging the Chiefs, who continued to load up.
AFC north is just wild .. arguably the strongest a division has ever been ???
Totally missing the AFCN and honestly the AFC South will be much more interesting than the NFCN
- 49ers just went to the Super Bowl
- Rams were solid already and just had a great draft, plus they still have Sean Mcvay and they won the Super Bowl a couple years ago with many of the same players
- Seahawks with the brightest young defensive HC in the league and what should be a top league defense trying to stop the Rams and 49ers
- top WR from the draft getting the ball from a healthy Kyler Murray
But sure, they’re not in the top 5 most interesting divisions
I fully believe that had the Bills not had 8 starters injured on their defense in the AFC Championship then they would have been in the Superbowl. They're in a good spot. I'm not a Bills fan btw.
I can see why Pelissero is the backup ... not having the AFC North listed at all is total insanity, as is including the AFC West (which is KC and everyone else until further notice).
Love Tom but he missed a crucial one with no AFC North.
I cant believe the AFC North doesn't even make the list when you essentially removed 2 teams from the AFC West to make them number 1. Just the sheer fact that the Ravens got Derrick Henry as run game reinforcement, the Steelers getting 2 of the most question marked QB's in the league when their offense was not QB strong, the Browns finding out if Deshaun still has it to completely galvanize this team that otherwise ready to possibly contend in the post season, and the Bengals cementing the O-line to protect Joe Burrow because of his proclivity to get hurt since the last time he was healthy for a year, he sent the Chiefs home before the Super Bowl. NFC and AFC North divisions should definitely be 1 and 2 in whatever order, and the AFC West should have been 3. AFC East i agree for 4, and instead of the NFC South i think the NFC West race for 5 is more interesting since the Cards could be viable by December, the Rams have their questions but also some answers that came from the Draft that could make this interesting, the Niners for obvious reasons since the end of the season last year, and the first year without Pete Carroll for the Seahawks.
NFCN is the most intriguing division this season.Chargers aren't going to turn around and become SB contenders in 1 year - no matter who is coaching them. The Chiefs are firmly in charge of the AFCW division and everyone else including the 5-12 Chargers are a distant second. In contrast, as good as the Detroit Lions are, The Packers came on strong in the last 6 weeks of the season and showed that they can beat playoff teams in the pot season. Also, the Bears at least on paper have a great roster going into the season, and a supposed top rookie QB (I will believe it when I see it). The Vikings may also have hit gold with JJ Mccarthy (but I will have to see that to believe it too). The Lions are the team to beat in that division without question, and they have addressed their D secondary in a big way in the draft and thru FA. The NFCN has a lot of rookie players, 2 QB;s and a lot of potential. NFCN
NFC North should really be the top #1
Wow! Afc north not #1 or in top 5 …craziness
How are the afc north and south not on here, certainly over the AFC west
AFC East looks much more interesting than the NFC East!
AFC NORTH AND NFC WEST WILL BE THE MOST COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS THIS YEAR. MARK MY WORDS.
Bolt Up!! Huge Charger fan..... but..... ya, we will end up in third place(again). Hey, we know our place.
trolling with the afc west pick 😂😂😂 only one team has currently an 8 year streak as division champs and their division race is the most interesting??? chargers with no receivers, broncos and raiders with questions at qb, and oh, the 2 time champs? yeah, that'll be interesting, smh
How is the AFC North not at the top of this list?
KC owns them all 🤷♂️
So what does +120 mean?
Is bro just tryna be “ different “ by not including AFC north ? 😂
This is silly. The chargers aren't going to compete this season. Harbough came in with a lot of roster issues and this Chiefs team might be the best they've ever had
AFC north?? 😆
1. AFC North
2. NFC North
3. AFC East
4. NFC East
5. AFC South
AFC North and NFC North are the only 2 divisions with real parity top to bottom. NFC West is more interesting than AFC West. The Rams could definitely beat the Niners.
AFC west does NOT have a game every match up to watch lolol
AFC south is easily the most entertaining division in football idc
It’s a must see not a power ranking
No mention of the AFC North is preposterous. It is the most competitive division in the NFL and could very possibly have 3 playoff teams in it. AFC West is still going to be ran by the Chiefs 100% and the NFC East is a joke and a first round exit for whoever wins it.
Media expectations for the AFC West not reality.🤨
Once again it's TOMMY P!
No one cares about south divisions, it’s Houston and Atlanta… afc east is way more of a story then cowboys and nfc east (eagles will win again). AFC east with Rodger’s back, and dolphins vs bills is gonna be crazy. AFC west….chiefs, done. NFC west is intriguing with rams but i still think it’s 49ers. AFC north and nfc north are the two top down best divisions. Lions and packers will win the north but Vikings and bears have so much weapons its gonna be fun to watch. Burrow coming back, Wilson in Pittsburgh, is Deshaun gonna be back and Lamar baby……i have no idea who will win this division more than any other division.
Every team in the AFC North would've been in the playoffs if Burrow didn't get hurt. HOW ON EARTH are they not #1
I would say it's the AFC West but def not the Chargers. If any team is going to compete with the Chiefs...It's the Raiders just like last year!
Don’t ever disrespect the AFC North like that 🗣️
That is ridiculous having the AFC West at 1. Chargers are in full recalibration mode, Raiders don’t have a QB and doubled down on TE in the draft, and he just said the Broncos have a long way to go. The AFC North on the other hand had 3 teams make the playoffs and could have had all 4 without a Burrow injury.
Without a QB we probably won more than your favorite team last year😂 we didn’t “double down at TE we picked up the best available player in the draft. Bowers plays fullback and in the slot. Shows how little you actually know about team needs 🤣 the raiders needs were a tackle cornerback and QB. We tried to trade up 3 times and got shut out trying to get Daniels maye and jj. The raiders top 2 tackles were already off the board by 13 and I’d argue the next tackle would’ve been considered a reach at 13. There wasn’t one CB in this class worth a 1st. Mitchell and Arnold went in the late first but the raiders CBs they got in the 4th and 7th rank in the top 5 with both of those guys so… if we would’ve taken position of need it would’ve been a reach. Our new OC runs 13 man personal more than any team in the league🤣 even if we do run bowers as a legit TE explain to me how that’s not going to generate success on the field. I can’t wait to watch defenses struggle trying to guard 4 recievers all over 6’2”🤣
@@stoney2271 That’s a ton of words and laughing emojis for an average team with no QB and barely a RB. If you were in the AFC North, you win 6 games at best last year.
@@troyroach1277 yeah right since we struggle playing the browns steelers and ravens😂we’ve beaten all three of those teams recently. Bengals were the only loss and even then it came down to the last play🤣the year they went to the SB even hahaha.
@@troyroach1277 I like how you make claims without explaining yourself 🤣I’m sorry is a lot of word too much for you? does it make your head hurt lol. At least I explain my point and it’s grounded in something tangible. You’re basing your whole point off of what you “think” right ?🤣the Steelers haven’t won a playoff game in 10 years the ravens always choke against the chiefs and the browns are the browns. Unless you’re a bengals fan I don’t wanna hear anything from you. Even then the bengals are a poverty franchise so hush 🤫 🤣🤣
@@stoney2271 I’m not required to explain myself. I state my opinion and move on. As a Bengals fan, I can say without hesitation that the AFC North dwarfs the AFC West. Every team had a winning record and 3 of the 4 did it with 2nd and 3rd QBs. With Burrow, Watson and Wilson/Fields in the mix this year, all 4 teams nigh make the playoffs. The only credit I’ll give the Raiders is that you’ve done way more than can be expected with the coaches, GM’s and disaster picks you’ve had. Unfortunately, I’m not sure Ray Lewis’ wing man is going to be much better.
Imagine saying the cowboys are the favorite in their division after this off-season 😂😂
Last year the afc north became the only division in nfl history to have all 4 teams finish with a winning record. Add Russell Wilson and Joe Burrow (back) into that mix, and you clearly don’t have a very exciting division for next year
DON'T HAVE? 😅 WILL HAVE
AFC North isn't "exciting" because there haven't been any major shakeups except for Pittsburgh shipping out Kenny Pickett. A suspect QB being replaced by one, potentially two suspect QBs isn't a big shakeup compared to what other divisions have going on.
Imagine thinking the chargers are going to win 16 games
1: AFC North (Literally ANYONE can win the division, and literally EVERYONE can make the playoffs!)
2: NFC North (Packers-Lions, plus the ascension of the Bears after an eternity roaming the QB desert)
3: NFC West (Rams could challenge the Niners for supremacy this year, and the other teams are total wildcards)
4: AFC East (Bill-Dolphins, and can Rodgers bounce back for the Jets?)
5: NFC South (Bile Fascination, but this may be the most competitive division in the NFL)
6: NFC East (Cowboys-Eagles, and we know this division is getting more primetime games than deserved)
7: AFC South (All about CJ Stroud, but can the Colts and Jags bounce back from disappointing finishes?)
8: AFC West (Chiefs and 'everyone else' until further notice ... basically the new AFC East under the Brady/Belichick years)
NFC WEST!!! Cmon Man! Seriously? Go Hawks
You definitely missed on this one, Tommie.
AFC west? Why? They're the least interesting, KC dominates it- there, zero drama or excitement. Both Norths are what I'm looking forward to. Go Pack Go.
Acf north is king
Such a good list until #1. That division will be a blowout. Should’ve been AFC North.
Damn, no love to the saints.
“The saints are a football team that has players.”
Note: this was not ranking the divisions.
Bro what? Who cares about the NFC East or West. The only reason they care about the East is because of the Penix pick. West why do we care that Cowboys will be who they always are?
Why isnt the AFC North not must watch this season? A healthy Joey B? Deshaun Watson? Lamar? Who’s gonna be the QB in Pittsburgh? That’s way more interesting of a storyline to play out.
Lol 😂 I thought Tom grossi 😂❤
Jamarcus Russel bides from Penix…
I don't know how the North's aren't #1 and #2.
Caleb Williams will be a HUGE bust. Denver might make a playoff run. Chicago should have drafted Bo Nix or just stuck with Bagent.
how tf isn’t the AFC South on his list???
AFC North had 3 playoff teams last season but, whatever Tom.
AFC West is arguably the worst division lol
Lmfao afc north is still the best division in football wtf?
whats with all the Raider hate ?
1. NFC North 2. AFC North 3. AFC East 4. NFC West 5. AFC South
AFC West this upcoming season is not interesting at all, it's the Chiefs and no one else.
Falcons will go 9 & 8 at best, losing games with scores like 41 to 38. They have no Defense.
