Well, except for the incredibly weak roster of opponents. The NFC South and AFC West (except the Chiefs) should be relegated to the USFL.

The NFL doesn’t want a three peat. As a Chiefs fan, this schedule is brutal. Not saying that because of the opponents but that 3 week stretch of games from week 15-17, is 10 days. Doesn’t seem like it’s good for player safety. Smh. Hopefully they can stay healthy

If they 3Peat, it will be the most legendary NFL team based on how they won all three… youngest defense to win a Super Bowl. toughest road playoff to win a SB last season, and toughest season schedule by date if they win this year.
Uhhh Brady having to go to Drew Brees house for the divisional round and then Aaron Rodgers house for the NFC championship as the #5 seed for the 2020 season was 100% a harder road than the Chiefs last year, and it's not really close. Brees and Rodgers are both legends with rings. Josh Allen and Lamar have no rings and are not legends yet.

However, I was speaking from a dynastic standpoint… the patriots never faced quite the challenges the Chiefs will have faced in this 3year stretch- giving them the most legendary NFL TEAM of all time, if they 3Peat.

They went back to back after going on the road for the first time in the playoffs and crushed that adversity. Imagine they go back to back to back after facing the adversity of THIS DAMN SCHEDULE, wow. This has gotta be the toughest schedule next to how the Steelers schedule ENDS lol
Chiefs proved all they need to do is get into the playoffs. As underdogs last playoff season they proved they win when it matters, especially in the last game.
This "tough" schedule for KC won't even matter. They'll easily win their division guaranteed a playoff spot already. They don't care about the 1 seed. The same thing will happen like last year, they will get in as the 2, 3, or 4 seed and still beat everyone for another champion. Regular season means nothing to KC.
Don't forget a week 6 buy week, so literally no chance to rest after the first quarter of the season

The Chiefs had to play the most objectively unfair December schedule in the last 35 years of NFL schedules LAST YEAR - scheduling FIVE OPPONENTS IN A ROW in the crucial month of December all coming off byes or extras days of rest/preparation to face the Chiefs - so now the league office has to try and beat that record of trying to screw the champs. This league desperately wants to avoid a threepeat by the chiefs.
I think they are biased against the Hunt family because of their Christian values!! Thats the only thing that makes sense because A 3 PEAT would be good for league as far as revenue goes!!
The Panthers’ and Chiefs’ 2024 schedules are opposites. The Panthers only play on Sundays with no night games. NFL clearly prioritizes money over player safety.

Chief's Monday night game needs to have a weather delay and maybe go in to OT so they play past midnight thus playing on Tuesday
The chiefs are certainly one of the favorites to get to the Super Bowl but the odds are against them just as they are against ever other team. On top of that the afc is stacked. Good luck on that ace.

Yes there was no Thursday or Xmas games in early 2000s but there was actual practices where players hit each other. A lot less defensive restrictions and on and on. As defending champs and back to back champs the chiefs have the 16th hardest schedule. 16th!!

The NFL Players Union Needs to get involved HERE. On the subject of Player Safety, the League should be spending Tens of Millions $$ per Year on Development of Improved Equipment & Environment. The Only thing I've seen are the ludicrous Michelen-Man Padded Practice Helmets. The BYE Week Needs to be at the Same time for all Teams & if 18 Games Seasons then 2 all-team byes.
The week-6 bye is the worst part by far but if you look at it, after their week-11 game vs the Bills, the Chiefs will be favored in every game the rest of the season. The Chiefs can string together a 7-game win streak &get hot right in time for the playoffs regardless of what happened the first ten weeks of the season. But week-17 and week-18 look like bye-weeks to me, which sets them up perfectly to be healthy going into the postseason. And if they did need to go on a late season run like the Bills last season the Chiefs schedule allows for that as well. I won't expect all the Chiefs to play on X-mas or fly to Denver

At least all the off-week games other than Pittsburgh they get to play at home. Big difference. And they have weak opponents like the Raiders. Also the week before the Xmas game on Wednesday they play at home on a Saturday so it's like playing a Thursday game. Of course as the season goes injuries will rear it's ugly head and change the actual strength of schedule.
