    This was one of the most unique, and interesting, sports based interviews I’ve seen, just from a topic point, and the guest choice. This is the first time in years I’ve felt like something was, to my ears, genuinely original and fascinating to learn about from a new angle.

    Guy says he doesn't think about certain matchups and rematches from former players, but schedules indicate they do.

      @AceManning18 Před 25 dny

      That isn't what he said 😂 he said Russell Wilson going back to Denver is different than returning to Seattle, and that they can't make every "revenge" game happen. He clearly admitted they scheduled the Broncos in Seattle a few years ago on purpose.
      English is hard, I forgive you

    The best way to combat a hard schedule, a better team & better quarterback 😂

    Probably the best guest you've had on in months. It isn't too often anymore I'm learning completely new things involving the sports world, but today was that day. Great interview.

    Wondering why the NFL doesn’t just do a bye week for every team midway through the season. That would be more fair. It’d give all players a breather. I know the NFL and networks would survive w/out the income from games for one week. They’d come up with a way to generate income for that week, just as they do during the “off season.”

    • @AceManning18
      @AceManning18 Před 25 dny

      Probably because this isn't a fantasy land, and the networks aren't going to agree to just eliminating one of their precious NFL weeks. I imagine that's a considerable percentage of their revenue.

    Can someone explain the reason for the Ravens being away for three weeks due to Orioles playing home those 3 weeks? I don’t think they share a stadium do they?

  • @johnfarr2738
    @johnfarr2738 Před 27 dny +1

    The O’s have a new owner in David Rubinstein who’s a Baltimore guy and won’t give the Ravens crap for games like the Angelo’s’ did

    You can't disappoint me about the schedule because my team is going to be garbage no matter what order they play the games.
    Go Pats

    I’m happy with my teams schedule (Washington), although I would have liked our game vs Chicago as a primetime game since it’s the first two picks in the draft playing each other. Other than that it’s fine. At least we don’t have to travel out to the west coast this year as we did last season. Our furthest game west is week 4 IN Arizona. Plus we shouldn’t have any really cold weather games

  • @calebflynn9636
    @calebflynn9636 Před 26 dny

    Probably because of what florio reported this morning. Integrity of the game being messed up.

    The bears are must see television week 18 vs the packers. They played the packers week 18 this most recent season too. Hopefully there will be huge playoff implications.

    I think what means unfair is what's unfair to the bodies of the players. You can't prove that by injury data, player fatigue and bumps and bruises don't necessarily have to lead to a major injury to hurt the integrity of the game. Not much you can do about it with so many different days of the week.
    I think they should make the roster bigger to give teams the ability to rest star players more.

  • @calebflynn9636
    @calebflynn9636 Před 26 dny

  • @vernonbandy2597

    The schedule is proof the NFL doesn't care about player health, and this guy isn't ashamed of that

  • @itstrizzo
    @itstrizzo Před 24 dny +1

    Black Friday, Christmas, international, streaming, teams playing every day of the week, teams playing 3 games in 10 days, and on and on. When someone has to purchase a streaming plan to see a primetime or playoff game, then it's really gotten out of control to be honest. You can hear Rich trying to comment on it with his questions while trying to not be combative. The NFL and the networks/streaming services are showing little to no consideration for the players and the viewers. Predatory behavior to make as much money as possible.

    This guy seems to be milking as much as he can from his 15 minutes of fame. This isn't like the old days when it was all done manually with a peg board. He plugs data into a prebuilt matrix and uploads it to an AWS server farm. Review, tweak data, rinse and repeat.
