I am a diehard Habs fan BUT was never a Bergevin fan BUT Bergy deserves a medal for letting KK slide to the Canes in that offer sheet fiasco!!!!
Canes got EXACTLY WHAT THEY DESERVED for trying to "stick it" to the Habs for offer sheeting Aho!!! Despite it all...KK will laugh all the way to the bank. If he doesn't turn his game around, he'll probably get bought out and go back to Finland with a truckload of $$$ and play at home and NEVER lose a minute of sleep over this whole mess. He and Nail Yakapov will start a support group...😂
If only he didn't mess up using the pick for Dvorak. However, glad we didn't offer 6+ on kk
Another mad Habs fan detected 😂
Bergevin doesn't deserve any credit as he never should have been drafted at #3
Ever since you offer sheeted Aho you haven’t won lmao
@@CxrsonYo yeah...but...at least I can still bask in the afterglow of 24 Stanley Cups...damn....feels so 😊😊😊
KK showed us the finger on his way out and Canes rubbed it in. This is beautiful
Aho was actually worth the offer sheet. KK was just dumb revenge.
Our future on D is set with Guhle Barron, Xhekaj Mailloux, and Hutson Reinbacher making up our core. The S.S. Caulfield line is anchored well and needs no change with Captain Suzuki at the helm. Our 4th line is set with Beck, Evans, and Armia providing a strong D that can score so we are set on 4th and first lines. So we need some influx of talent for the 2nd and 3rd lines. Dach, Newhook, Mesar, Roy, Kapinen, needs Lindstrom, Iserman, or Iginla. So we need picks to trade for them. We don't need gold like Cellabrini plus the cost is way too high. There is much talent in the first round so trade for picks and move up. Lotsa' Silver is what we need we already have buillion on D. Raise Dem sails and watch dem bergs.
It might be an attitude problem. When he was with Montreal, he had so many players around him who were "go getters". Like Perry and Ghal and Cole Suzuki etc etc. They are driven players. So obviously he had an ego going to Carolina. If the players on Carolina are not surrounding him with that go get attitude ask what's going on in the locker room. KK is a good Playoff bound player but at over 4 million is it worth it?
Patterns have emerged with Kotkaniemi - ha can't skate at an NHL level. Never could.
The problem I have with KK is that after 6 years in the NHL, I still don't know his strong points as an NHL player. And, I bet he doesn't know either.
@@leezwatz3339Has he at least stopped falling down every shift?
@@davechan8613 He has no character and showed no effort to improve.
@@davechan8613 IDK. But, part of me would welcome him back with the habs. I figure that with a young team full of talent and with our coaching staff, it would probably help him develop some qualities that we didn't know he had. It would be called the "KOTKANIEMI PROJECT". But, Buyers Beware. He does have an attitude, and with a long term contract worth M of $, I'm not sure if he would be willing to go through the drill of becoming a good hockey player.
@@robertl8481 Bingo. You nailed the problem. KK doesn't care about hockey, other than as a way to get paid. And luckily he took that from the Canes.
imagine habs 2021 playoff run with a guy like Tkachuk instead of KK
Kotkaniemi can shake hands with puljujarvi 🤝, two busts
I'm a hard core Canes fan & I have to say I can't stand even seeing this chump on the ice. Painful to cheer for the team with this idiot in the mix. Dude's a joke of a hockey player.
Funny, your right. Watching lol. But I hope he does well. Really do. Carolina is tough to play for. He just needs a shot elsewhere.
I just don't see KK coming back to the Habs. He wore out his welcome when he signed with the Canes. He does need to go down to the minors for improvement though.
The way he left Montreal was really a middle finger…I remember when he was considered by some as better than Suzuki…gee, I wonder how that debate is going…I do not wish him I’ll will, but I do not wish him good will.
Remember when The Hurricanes thought that they stole a superstar from the Habs? Pepperidge Farm remembers!
in mtl we liked him the first year but the he sucked
and we didnt really like him anymore
I was happy Montreal did not sign him just because he could not get the job done all the time go HABS best of luck to him
I would LMFAO if KK get buyout!
But I may be slavic /Baltic/Russian too though
Kotkaniemi is playing, according to the box score. He has one shot. A season high.
KK has a temper. His coach in Europe said it when he was drafted. He lost it in finals against Tampa and the coaches weren't impressed. Then last year he had stick swinging tantrum in the hallway after losing a playoff game. He is a bad act waiting to happen.
He is a punk and is on a roll with 10 points in the last 53 games! No character so hopefully won't make the same mistake by trading for Zegras.
His ego was too much to where the uniform therefore move on I believe that's what append 😮
KAH KAH
I'm sick of hearing it's Montreal's responsible for KK's development.
KK became a little bit of a pre Madonna & went nuts in the diversity & became twice the millionaire he would have had he been able to be realistic 🤔he only thought he was a Cole Caufield or Nick Suzuki because he built the idea in his mind that he was more responsible for his production then the stars around him were really more responsible for GO HABS GO 💕💕💕
Member when Canes fans thought they had their revenge and stole our best rookie? I member.
Remember how the Canes made the CF last year and have already clinched a playoff spot this year? Meanwhile the toilet seats are a lottery team for the 3rd straight season. 😂
@@user-ji3il6ce2onot what video is about bud. Damn habs be in every fans heads
@@bradleypittman9370So KK is a disappointment, but Caufiled who only has 23 goals while playing on the first line isn't? Weren't toilet seat fans saying that Caufield will score 40 goals this season? 😂😂
@@user-ji3il6ce2o career high in points and assists
@@user-ji3il6ce2o Caufield actually has the same number of points he was projected to have last season. He's scoring less but passing more.
He's becoming a more complete player.
KK and Radulov, 2 guys who crapped on the CH. KK is a spoiled brat. Berg did one good thing
Hes a bottom 6 guy. But... If you have stronger role players on your bottom six, they will get the nod over him 🤷🏻♂️ Also... He's not a rod the bod type player. Rod likes players that wear their heart on their sleeves. I think a change of scenery would do KK good. It sure won't make things worse. A rare canes L
If Kotkaneimi is playing that much as game 4 of first round, canes going to lose
Y can't u accept a lesser offer from Ukraine Russia ?
This war is a stalemate
Fake news
He's still a kid.
Ok this is going to be a long one. KKs demise is a mix of Montreal mismanagement of his training program and his impatience. In Montreal he was overrated and needed better training. Since he never got that, KK was simply an underwhelming player. So when Carolina did their move to obtain him. It was actually a blessing for Montreal and could have been a blessing for KK. But Carolina screwed it up by offering him a contract that was way to rich for a player of his caliber. He was simply never able to perform in that expensive caliber. And now his world is coming to a crash. KK is simply a victim of poor management. What goes around, comes around.
He got the same problem as Slavkosky.
He coughs up the way too much choking his line mates.
That's why Caulfield isn't producing.
Once Suzuki started ignoring him on the ice he started producing...
You have to be kidding,, braindead comparison
@@knightfall7534…..@bondjames….this is an American showing his hockey knowledge….
