    If you ever realize that you are a trans man and your straight boyfriend breaks up with you because of it but is still supportive of your decision, they're not transphobic. Them breaking up with you is them acknowledging you are the gender you identify as. Don't ask people to compromise on their sexuality. It would be nice if you could keep your significant other and transitions, but more often that not they signed up to be in a relationship with the gender you both assumed you were when you started dating.

    Whenever someone says “split personality” you know 100% that they’re a faker! It isn’t even called “split personality” or “multiple personality disorder,” for god’s sake! It’s called dissociative identity disorder and people who have it have likely gone through some intense trauma in the past, so faking it just to be “edgy” is insanely insensitive. These people need to stop!

    • @electrowave114

      It *was* originally called MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder), though. DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) is a more recent denomination for the condition (a quick Google search will show this). "Split personality," however, has never been an official diagnosis term, that I am aware of.
      Though I have noticed that many folks who actually have it refer to themselves as, specifically, plural systems, in the modern day. Rather than referring to 'split personalities,' they refer to other selves and wish to be addressed as a plurality.

    "White Day" began after an executive of Ishimura Manseido read a letter from a Japanese woman to a women's magazine lamenting the fact that men receive chocolate from women on Valentine's Day, but women receive nothing in return. “Why don't they give us anything? A handkerchief, candy or even marshmallow…” The comment about marshmallows led Ishimura Manseido to coin “Marshmallow Day” and create a new candy with marshmallow paste filled with chocolate for the occasion. He even created a slogan: “I would like to take the chocolate I got from you and wrap it with my white heart”. The name of the date was changed to “White Day” to make it more inclusive, although it was still linked to the marshmallow. So no, the name it's not racist, that girl it's just trying to make it problematic.

    I think what the lady at 36:40 is on about is, that children do explore their bodies earlier than most people would think and that it's beneficial to teach them about concent early, not to shame them for wanting to explore and tell them the proper names for their body parts. This makes it easier for a child to recognize inappropiate behavior towars them, and can reduce shame so they speak up when they've experienced something upsetting. It's not cringe imo., but there are better ways to word this stuff.

    • @AhavaMath
      @AhavaMath Před 10 měsíci +53

      Yeah, I don't know if there was more to her video or not, but what she was saying was actually really important. It just maybe was worded a little strangely at one point.
      Children do explore their bodies on their own, and it's important to try to teach them when they ask questions, in a non-shaming fashion.

    • @tinnagigja3723
      @tinnagigja3723 Před 10 měsíci +45

      When you say children do anything remotely sexual, some people always jump to the conclusion that you want to involve adults in it somehow. It's like the age of consent discussion, where if you say you think 18 is too high, because most people do not wait that long anyway, some people will always pretend you mean adults with toddlers rather than a 16 year old and her 15 year old girlfriend.

    • @Jarimir
      @Jarimir Před 8 měsíci +14

      The suggestion is that she is encouraging/teaching masturbation "at any age/as soon as they can learn". I am usually on the other side of the debate on this, but no one should be taught how to masturbate prior to the urge to do so. I taught myself at age 7, but this lady seems to want to go younger and that doesn't sit well with me.

    • @strawberrycheesecake5502
      @strawberrycheesecake5502 Před 8 měsíci +23

      @@JarimirI see your point. I think it also depends on what she was talking about before the recording cuts in. If she's talking to parents about keeping an open mind, when kids come to them with questions like the ones she lays out, I think what she says is fine. If she got to this point by saying parents should teach their kids explicitly how to do it, then yeah, that's questionable.

    • @Jarimir
      @Jarimir Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@strawberrycheesecake5502 it IS possible I misinterpreted what she said, but it seemed to indicate that her and her sister were teaching their toddlers what a penis is by also telling them it feels good to "yank on it". IMO that is something you "teach" AFTER you discover them masturbating or attempting to... Puberty and sexual awakening are inevitable. There is certainly no need to rush at age 3...

      I already say it, but here i go again:
      It is literally part of our psychological formation to touch and explore our body or to put stuff in our mouth.
      Just because adults interpret this as sexual, doesn't mean it IS inherently sexual.
      Kids are just learning about their own body, how things feel, "oh, touching my nose feels like this, touching my head feels like that, touching my privates feel like that" and of course, being a sensible part, touching your privates will be something kids will explore even more. What is that weird feeling? Oh touching here is good. It's not weird at all. Did you tell your mom to stop hugging you just because it felt good? Of course not, if something feels good you're gonna do it again, explore that feeling.
      Exactly like early in formation we like to suck on pacifiers, to chew on toys, to such our thumb, to put random stuff in our mouth. As adults we interpret the feeling it gives us as sexual, but for a baby it is just a pleasant, relaxing feeling. So they put stuff in their mouth, they suck on things, they chew toys, they touch their body.
      It's like these weird people that say "letting your kid suck on your nips for MILK is child molesting" like bruh... the kid doesn't even know what a boob is yet, for them it's just like "oh hey look, food storage". This is nice and all, but you've all been misdirected in completely different direction... that's not even how sun warms things up. It's in a vacuum. With no air to heat up that could touch our skin to feel the warmth. We're insulated from the sun, because there is massive vacuum preventing the heat from spreading. The real reason why it warms the earth is... LIGHT. Light is energy that when it hits something, it heats it up. In our case, it hits the ground, water... a lot of things that get warmed up and the heat evens out due to air getting warmed up and then carrying that warmth elsewhere. Now lets look elsewhere... Mercury. Did you know that despite of being so close to the sun, the surface temperature can get as low as -180C on the night side? The planet rotates very slowly, which causes the cold side of the planet to receive very little light. If it worked the way you implied it does, the cold side wouldn't be cold at all.

    As someone currently studying astrophysics, I couldn't stay silent. This man ( 10:00 ) is so wrong my love of science is beating my social anxiety. Yes, the sun is much bigger than our brains can comprehend and emits a lot of heat because of that. However, the surface of the sun is _by far_ the coolest part. The corona (atmosphere) of the sun is usually about 2 million F (1.1 mil C) and can reach 3.5 million F (2 mil C), and the core is 27 million degrees F (15 mil C). The surface, a measly 10,000 F (5,500 C), is practically freezing in comparison.

Cancer patients go to gyms. Obese people trying to make a meaningful change in their life go to gyms. Hell, I've even seen someone *in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down* doing bicep curls and pull-ups with his assistant spotting for him. Most gyms do not tolerate negativity and gatekeeping. If you see someone doing that garbage at your gym, tell staff about it. And if you happen to be a fit and healthy person who sees someone struggling, be friendly and help them get started. People tend to quit early on if they lose motivation. Being kind can literally change someone's life.

      This. When I worked at a gym, I had a zero-tolerance policy for any ridicule/judgement. Thankfully many people were respectful, but if I heard any ridicule, I would simply ask them “how are they supposed to improve themselves if we judge them for even trying?”
      I’d say more than 2/3 of the people I saw were definitely not the ripped guy anybody would imagine, yet could probably lift 6 times what they could. Plus, about a quarter of our regulars were people over the age of 70. Two of them were Holocaust survivors. One was a stroke victim, one was 93, and still swam the mile every year. Several of our pool patrons are there for rehab as ordered by a doctor. Our gym has 3 wheelchairs ready to go if somebody wants it. I’ve taught a 73 year old how to swim, staring from the basics.
      If anybody reads this, please PLEASE if you hear y kind of mocking or ridicule, tell staff immediately. It could potentially save a customer from canceling their membership . . Nothing scares away a potential regular sooner than somebody making a single comment, even if “it’s just a joke”.

      Things like chicken farms can also make a good profit by just cutting out the middle man and selling eggs directly to neighbors. A dollar a dozen straight from your neighbor's backyard is much cheaper than what you can pay for them at the store and many people who own chickens end up with a lot more eggs than they could ever eat on their own anyway.

      another trick used was sticking pennies into the fingertips of the gloves, to make the hand strikes louder. on purely ceremonial occasions they use rifles with the internal working parts removed, to make a hollow echo camber to again make it sound more impressive.

    A “high value man” makes sure that when you make plans that both parties are free at the same time, and recommends something that they have personally experienced and wants the other person to enjoy. A “low value man” disregards what you want, when you want it and makes demands about all parts of the date. I don’t understand why people have an issue with good communication
