As a German I'm used to the last place, and considering the drama of this year's national final I knew we would get last, but I don't think he deserved it. Bottom five for sure, this song is no ESC song and was never intended to be one, but dead last was too harsh. Also we lost Spain and the UK as our Bottom Five Buddies, so either they have to come back, we have to send better songs or we need new ones. Any volunteers?

But i think Malik Harris is more of an musical artist and not so much of an performer. I think he could've done better if he just could've played his instruments live, so it didn't look as much weird as it did now with him being surrounded by all those instruments which he fake-played for 10secs each.
or just get rid of the instruments entirely and do a music video style staging

@Hanna Becker, So in 2020 After the contest was canceled the EBU wanted to avoid that situation again. With that in mind every single delegation. Internal chosen or winning a national final artists should record a sort of similar performance in case of getting COVID especially in the week of Eurovision itself. Remember Australia last year ? That performance wasn’t on stage live in Rotterdam. So in case of artists getting COVID which the EBU clearly with their heart and soul wants to avoid.
Have requested to every delegation to record that live on tape to show it to the live audience if an artist can’t be there In person. Hopefully this answers your question😊.
