Deserved to finish so much higher. Love the song and that France is appreciating their minority languages and sending songs in Breton to ESC, just like Sognu in Corsican in 2011
Maybe in 2023 were France will sing in Occitan language if 🇬🇧 was going to host?
The problem with that is because of the score of fulenn France, the Uk, and Ireland might be scared to send a Celtic language

Most underrated song of the year
Their result was one of the biggest robberies in ESC history. So confused how they finished in 24th. 💔 Despite that, Alvan & Ahez should be so proud of their ESC journey, my 2nd favourite entry this year! ♥♥

@@artemiou707 Of course, just wanted to share my opinion! I wasn't surprised about their jury result, but their televote was shocking. I prefer Fulenn as a song (just more to my taste), but the performance of Voilà is now an iconic moment in ESC history :)

The camera work, the light, the sound, almost everything is better in this live on tape than it was in the final. Yes, they were robbed, but Alvan is perfection no matter what🥰

I admit that the live performances aren't quite as good as the studio version and that could be why it flopped, but I listen to the studio version all the time, it's absolute fire

@@punchito I'm sorry but France has been sending entries in French for more than 10 years, last year's Voilà was dubbed "The Frenchiest French France has ever Frenched" from one of the comments and ended up second. This year they're singing a song in Breton, a language coming from France's Brittany and you claim France to "steal culture?" Literally other countries have been singing in a different language with artists coming from different countries and apparently it isn't "whack and disrespectful." Apparently you have insufficient knowledge in the origins of the languages' countries let alone do a simple Google search to know that Breton is from France. Stop claiming arguments when you're clearly and confidently incorrect. Reflect on yourself and what you just said.
I ended up in the run up to Eurovision absolutely adoring this! Been trying to learn Welsh (I'm half British half Norwegian but from my own knowledge I don't have any Welsh in me but started during Lockdown and ended up loving the language) so hearing Breton was absolutely lovely ❤ Completely underrated during the final!
Omg me too! I’m in the exact same position as you, except that I’m half English, half Swedish. I’ve been learning Welsh on and off since last summer and it’s been so interesting seeing the overlap between the two languages. France really deserved so much better this year. :(
Damn, I think this is actually one of their best live vocal performances! Their voices blend together really nicely
So underrated! It kinda reminds me of Keiino's "Spirit in the Sky" and I definitely can't understand why it flopped so much.

I don't understand why it flopped either. It was my top3! It's actually a shame because it was cool to see France being represented by a song in a different language.

Maybe because of off-key notes and shaking voices during the finals. Their national performance was their best. I was rooting for them but in the finals, they made errors that may have cost them lots of points.

I loved it, so fresh and different and foreign. That is one major disadvantage, I think, that the Big 5 songs don't get enough air time until the Final, so most ppl don't familiarize themselves with songs such as this one, which grow on you the more you listen to them.

My number one entry in 2022, my favourite entry from France and my all time favourite Eurovision entry. This was criminally robbed of what it deserved. I hope that this doesn’t deter France and any other country from showcasing a part of their culture little known to others. This is what Eurovision is about.

Admittedly, Alvan and Ahez had performance issues, but Fulenn is an absolute jam. It deserved to do better than it ultimately did.

Alvan is pretty good, but the songs falls off a cliff because of ahez. The vocals we’re overproduced in the studio version, which easily gaves us false hopes

This was my number 1 going in to the competition.....until Sam Ryders amazing performance pushed him to the top spot for me. This remained at my number 2. Such a massively underappreciated performance and shockingly so.

I have always liked this song and the staging feels right to a degree. For me the camera work was all wrong. Cuts were rapid and it felt disorientating.when it needed to be mystical and magical.

They sing perfectly good here, which I think proves that it was a technical issue that made them fail in the final. It's my favorite song from 2022, and it should have made top 15 at least, but that year was full of technical issues that got in everybody's way.
