Germany didn't deserve the last place in the Eurovision final, this song is amazing, much better than many others in the show.

Don't let anybody tell you how you could have done it better. They don't understand this song. You did brilliant, because you felt it! This performance, it was one of the best of all times from Germany. So sad that Eurovision is not about music. It never was.

I love that song and the way he sings. I really enjoyed his performance in Eurovision. I remember calling my father after Eurovision and he couldn't stop saying how angry and disapponted was with the results of this song. He really enjoy it as well.

Go to your GP and either go down the talking therapy route (Cognitive behavioral therapy can help to rewire brain out of it's negative patterns) or pharma route (anti-anxiety/anti depression meds). There IS a way out of this. Trust me.

I listened to this song more than any other at eurovision, take it with irony, usually the last place is always the best on the long run ♥
Untill today I only heard one part on all the recaps and top lists and I thought it was a stupid generic pop song, but I've listed to the whole song today and read the lyrics and I teared up since I related to every single verse. Now it's in my top 3 and I just hope it doesn't come last as Germany usually does...

Hearing only part of the chorus in top lists or recaps leaves out all the emotion of the whole song.
Man I hope in the Finale they use the climax of the rap part for the recaps. That’s the absolute best part, I get chills every time, and by highlighting that Germany can really get on the left side of the scoreboard. I don’t want to get my hopes up to much though.
@@loganlux2135 I am German, and I am kind of tired about being judged in international shows like the ESC because of our problematic past. The ESC is about music and talents and not about the nationality and it's standing. I hope that it will be different this year but I can feel the disappointment coming already. Malik deserves it, not the country he represents.

Habe den Song erst vor Kurzem erstmalig im Radio gehört. Bevor er gespielt wurde hieß es "ESC Song für Deutschland" und ich dachte mir nur, das ist bestimmt wieder ein absoluter Reinfall.
Dann hörte ich die ersten Zeilen und war von der Stimme echt geflasht und hatte Gänsehaut. Hammer Lied, geile Rap Lines und ich freue mich, dass Deutschland dieses Jahr beim ESC endlich mal wieder durch einen talentierten Musiker vertreten wird! Viel Erfolg 🤗🍀

I really don't understand why this song didn't even make the top 10 during ESC. Especially as it is expressing an emotion that we all are feeling to some degree (at least in my experience). The mourning for the past before Covid and before so many other awful things. In the last few years the world just kept giving and giving and now we want back to easier, simpler and most of all happier times. Such an emotional song. Well done. But maybe ESC just didn't know how to deal with so many honest emotions.
