Hi everyone, just wanted to apologize for my mic quality; there was a noise gate issue happening that I didn't realize until after recording. I recently got a new mixer, and when recording with Scott, I still had not tweaked the settings perfectly; I'm only just getting it fixed. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the video!

The new music for Super Mario Bros. Wonder “Do Do Da Dahh” is quite refreshing as oppose to the New Super Mario Bros. “Bah Bah” but it will be iconic nonetheless

You know there is this water fountain Mario seems to be heading and is directed to right after the power-up, the trailer however doesn't show him reaching it. This leads me to believe that the elephant allows Mario to use Water, maybe akin to Super Mario Sunshine, the trunk would certainly help and real elephants are somewhat known to play with water using their trunk. The fountain could just be decorative though, but if it weren't other transformations might not be as realistic.

Daisy and Yoshi are most likely the ONLY new playable characters, because Nintendo has been foreshadowing this particular lineup in Super Mario Run and Super Nintendo World.

I’ve spend the past few days binging Scott’s videos - such amazing content. I also thought to myself “imagine if he and Nathaniel did a collab!” WOWWW! So glad this came to fruition 😁

It's much more likely this entire game takes place in the Flower Kingdom. Flowers are everywhere in the trailer, the one that talks to you is literally a psychidellic angel's trumpet, the new flower toads appear even in the cloud overworld, wind-flower platforms connect world sections together, and Daisy is being retconned as the flower princess.
You been watching too many stupid CZcams videos. Daisy not being rectconned cause it takes place in a flower kingdom. For all that rectconned peach to be the ruler of the fruit kingdom.

@@gametap2651 That is true that daisy was in Super Mario Land, but in the past 10-15 years or so, Nintendo has not really had any character that was mainly in spinoffs as a part of a mainline game. I am curious to see who else they will include, as I think that will set the tone for who gets included for the next decade or so

Well the flower looks to be based off of the angels bell/trumpet which is used as a psychedelic. Also it seems to be inspired from Alice in wonderland which is also about psychedelics.

Honestly I‘d prefer if this was only the Flower Kingdom. Odyssey is already the Kingdom-hopping game and I miss when other places were more fleshed out, like in Sunshine or the Mario & Luigi games.

My predictions what we will see:
- different jump physics in different levels (not only when transforming to i.e. elefant)
- 2. or even more planes gameplay as in donkey kong country/ tropical freeze
- world transformations on the fly as in giana sisters twisted dreams
- new physics stuff like pushing boxes to slide on or pull a plug to flood or dry a area out of water or a thicker fluid
- some kind of powerup to swim in lava
- a new kind to prevent dying from falling through holes (i.e. turning the level upside down)
- switching between friend and foes (e.g. play as gumba and try to escape an agressive mario or peach)
- online mode similar to Mario 35
- music actually reacting to the gameplay (maybe similar to the music levels from Raymen)
- a collectable as in super mario world (! blocks) to change and open up levels for secrets (little bit metroidvania like)
- breaking the 4th wall and the rules of 2d (e.g. chars facing the camera and the player as in crash bandicot)
- combining items to create new kind of skills
and a lot more 😆
PS: just imagine if I'm able to bring up such a crazy list of ideas in below 10 minutes and I'm no game designer, what can Nintendo do in 10 years?

I’m 10 minutes in and I wanna say, I think the UI showing the purple coins as decimals only happens during the Wonder Effects, because in the scenes before Mario collects the Wonder Flower, you see the normal, non-decimal number, like 124, for instance, not 124.5. Just thought I’d clear that up.
To me, the artstyle for this game reminds me of the artwork for the Japanese & European boxes for SMB1. It has that artsy style.
