Hello! It's nice to hear from you again. Have a good weekend! :)
We try our best. Natasha and I have families and other commitments. It's hard to meet regularly. But Natasha is eager to learn! Thank you for supporting our efforts.
Thank you Jennifer I am now following
Thank you. Happy studies!
When you form questions in the simple present (or simple past), you usually need a helping verb (a form of DO). Then the main verb uses the base form of the verb.
What color does he have? >> DOES = helping verb, signals present tense / HAVE = main verb in base form of the verb
Thank you for watching!
Houston? So you are coming to the U.S.? That is wonderful. You can use the community forum on my website to ask more questions. Also, I recommend that you try USALearns (.org) It's a free course for beginners and intermediate students, especially those who are new to the U.S. Good luck!
Hello Mohamed. It's nice to hear from you again.
Have a wonderful day!
@paulixior
Thank you for supporting her efforts!
@yumihoangtruc
I'm glad. Please keep watching.
DZ ana Hello Said. Correct: What color eyes does this baby boy have?
Subject: this baby boy
Helping verb: does
Main verb (base form): have
Object: What color eyes
Question: What color does this baby boy have? [Two verbs needed: a helping verb + the main verb.]
Answer: The boy has blue eyes. [Only one verb is needed.]

thank u so very much i was always confused when to use have or has..
Thanks Jenifer. Your lessons are really helpful.
I enjoyed the lessons Thanks Jennifer
I'm happy you enjoyed the lesson. Have a good day!
When you ask a question, you use this structure:
question word + helping verb (shows agreement) + subject + main verb (base form of the verb)?
Examples: What do you like? What does she like? What do they like? What does he like?
So with HAVE as the main verb, all questions will use the base form. The helping verb changes to show agreement.
Examples: What do you have? What does she have? What do they have? What does he have?
What color hair + does + the woman + have?
Does that make sense? :)
@KoreanCOSMOPOLITAN
The white board is certainly quieter, although it's small and a little unstable. I'll try to look into other possibilities. We're still filming in the bedroom of Natasha's son because it's sunny and quiet.

Natasha is awesome :)
To Bundit Phornsuksiri - If you're asking a general question about "anyone", then WHO + singular verb:
Who HAS time to help me? Who KNOWS the answer? Who WAS nominated?
But consider these examples: Who ARE they? Who ARE the top producers? Who WERE your ancestors?
Indefinite pronouns are usually singular; however, in everyday English plural forms are acceptable: Everyone NEEDS a friend. / Someone forgot HIS or HER wallet. (Correct, but more conversational: Someone forgot THEIR wallet.)
very good 👌
Thank you! Have a good day!

Hello. I'm an English learner from Thailand. I've watched your lesson and have got a question about verb to have. I hope you can help me. If the subject that comes before verb to have is the word like "Who", "anyone", "someone"or "everyone", then what form of have do we use?

You might like the Oral Reading Fluency series. Use the first 3-4 practice texts. Also, consider the pronunciation lessons. Regards!
Jennifer, thank you very much for the lessons.
I have a question...
"What color brush do you have?"
Is it necessary to put the article "a" before the word "brush"?
Regards
Alexey
Hi Alexey. It's true we count brushes, but the focus here is on color. "What" is like "which" so we're already modifying "color" with those words. It seems like an odd structure, but a common pattern in questions is "What color (noun)...?" as in "What color dress did she wear?" See more examples here: www.learnersdictionary.com/definition/color
Thank you very much for your support!
I wish good luck to your project!
Alexey
👍
hello! teacher jennifer my name's Thanh. I'm from VietNam. nice to meet you.
Hello Thanh! 😊
@@Englishwithjennifer How are you ,to day?
Good. And you?
@@Englishwithjennifer I'm fine thank you .
Are you English ?
Good
Thanks
You're welcome.
Hi Jennifer! You so good teacher!
Can i ask question?
Should we use a/an?
Example: I have a red car or not necessary and I'm sorry for my english if there are errors
A + consonant sound > a red car, a car
AN + vowel sounds > an orange car, an ice cream cone
JenniferESL
Sorry teacher but I wanted to ask another question, seems you did not understand my question 😅😄
After have/has we should use articles a/an?
Using articles depends on the noun. If it's countable and singular, then yes:
I have a car. (1 car)
I have an ice cube tray. (1 tray)
I have flour that you can borrow. (flour = uncountable)
Hope that helps.
Oh thank you very much!😀
HI Jennifer I have a question with the diffrent forms of HAVE i understand that when you use he/she/it we have to use HAS, then why when we ask a question we use have for example like in your video WHAT COLOR HAIR DOES THE WOMAN HAVE? why is it have and not has?
hi teacher jennifer . how are you ?my name loc i'm student learn english esl quickly forget

+Cris Caxias Hi again. Question: Can I ask a question? May I ask a question? (Incorrect: I have a ask.) "What about...?" is the same as "How about...?"
+Cris Caxias Look at entry 5. www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/about_1
I have a question ,this question is very exited for me

I'm glad you liked it.
HELLO!!
+Cris Caxias Hi!
What color eyes do you have ?
Good question. My eyes are brown. What color eyes do you have?
what color hair does he have. have ~ has ?
What color hair does he have? / What color is his hair?
What color hair does she have? / What color is her hair?
What color hair do I have? / What color is my hair.
When the question uses BE, we use AM, IS, ARE in the present.
When the question uses another verb, we use a helping verb (DO, DOES) and then the main verb.
When do you eat dinner? When does he eat dinner?
Where do you go to school? Were does she go to school?
Why do people talk fast? Why does she talk fast?
Do the father & son have?? I think does the father & son have? is it your mistake? why it's do why not does? could you tell me mam???💗
Examples:
The father and son have the same name.
They have the same name. (third person plural)
The father and son do not have the same name.
They do not have the same name. (third person plural)
Do the father and son have the same name?
In the negative and in questions, use the helping verb DO for third person plural (they) and DOES for third person singular (he/she).
Ohh 😯 I got it thanks 😊 third person plural it was little bit exception...
You are nice
I have brown eyes and dark hair.
Is your hair short or long? Is it straight or curly? :)
+JenniferESL short and straight :)

Correction: I have black hair and black eyes. OR: I have dark hair. / I have dark brown hair.
Dear Jennifer ..
excuse me but ..please look at the question in 6:30 and tell me what is the right :
we say : What color eyes does this baby boy have ?
or we say : What color eyes does this baby boy has ?
Best regards & thanks

Good morning teacher. My name Pariyawit Nurash. I was Thailand. I want Lean to you for one by one. Can you help? because who not teach me. I don't like langguage.
Hello. You can find a tutor on a platform like Hallo or Rype. I am not able to accept new students at this time. Try different teachers and find someone you connect easily with. :) Learning with someone can be a very positive experience. Good luck!
