If you're on a budget you can chemically strip the nickel plating and blue the welds with a map torch.
The key to maintaining the look is to clean and spray with lots of WD40. The 2nd most important thing to do is to wipe off any excess WD40 before you start the engine up. If you leave on excess wd40 and start it, it will brown the pipe!
I would ask them to make me one if they will that would be awesome if they would do that.
