How fun is it when you get a semi to work well and shoot straight. I finally got out to 200, dialed 6 mills elevation and was on target, ended up adding 4 tenths and got 19 of 20 on a 10" gong. Seemed way too easy. Can't wait to try 300 and see how that works! Thanks for all the information you put out there. I'm sure plenty of others have also benefitted from it!❤❤❤
Will has some good stuff on his site for sure. He made that CMMG bolt run like a sewing machine. Sure do go through ammo with it. Im using the CMMG 17" barrel on it but havent tried one of Wills yet because the 17 is doing really well. I have not stretched it out yet.
Since it wasn't in the title of the video, I want to make sure everyone knows that this video is specifically focusing on the JPRFX barrel. JP also makes a Supermatch .22lr barrel as more of a 3-gun training platform. The Supermatch barrel is also an accurate setup, but it won't group as tight as the JPRFX barrel.
Josh, the Black Dog mags work well, especially the steel.lip versions, but I just can't get past the last round bolt hold open not working with them. The bolt slams against the mag follower on the last round. AR catch 22 and the Smith & Wesson mags have solved that issue. Mags require a spacer to fit tight, but work great and are 25 round mags... thanks for the awesome content and I look forward to more👍
I used a Coldshot 150 moa base and stretched out to 600 yards using my cz455 and a 36x weaver, a good spotting scope is a must as well as spotter, I went 8/20 impacts on a 12x18" target after about 30 to find the target. Thanks Josh, the semi auto makes it a tad quicker with follow up shots, lol that poor fly, great shooting brother
Good luck at the match. I would have made the same decision on the ammo BUT I am still sort of shocked how the Benchrest ammo did. But like you I have sort of had the same issue with consistency lot to lot.
Hi Josh, for the best video at long range use the drone DJI, you can stay fix on a ground, no need use 4 motors, it is the best for video long range. Sorry for my english, (i am french canadian)
I bought one a few years back. I tried every 22-match ammo out there. I bought all the best components and optics. They are a waste of money. You can build a 10/22 for much cheaper that will outshoot it. At 50 yards they are a 3/4 inch group rifle at best.
Ive found with the ammo mine likes its sub moa at 50. Ive also got a really good 10/22. There is a place for the ar22 for sure. Sounds like you had a bad experience but that doesn’t condem a whole platform of rifles
@@PursuitofAccuracy I even spoke with Jp rifles at Shot. I tried Eley and Lapua. I know its a semi auto but I expected more out of mine. I have a DPMS 22 that shoots better. I guess I got a lemon. My Anschutz and Vudoo ruined me.

I would love to see if a BoreBuddy match upper holds up! Definitely more cost effective than the JP. Thanks Josh

That little 150yrd target was playing a good tune 😅
Looks like the JP did exactly what you'd expect it to do. Congratulations
Thanks for the fun video Josh! As always
Now you've made my bug for a 22 AR increase, I have a complete lower with out an upper and a CMC single stage trigger.
Half way there 😂
Good stuff Josh, you need to get a drone out there on them far targets!
I got one but not sure how the range would feel about it. Good idea though
Well done! I’ve not seen Eley working well in a semi-auto before, that’s neat
For a semi auto .22 lr that is impressive.
Damn Josh....you must have a good job. That sucker is high bucks without the optics!! I'm going back in to my poor boy hole.....LOL

Glad you are doing the leg work for me. Keep up the good work.

#OUTSTANDING VIDEO THNX
Accuracy and speed would be hard to compete against!
Rimfire DMR sounds like a ton of fun!!
It is

Ive got a mini, crashed my air 2 while back lol
Have you used a Triggercam 2.0 ? good show as usual...
Unfortunately I like jp stuff....probably need one of these
Nice AR platform. A little pricey.
👍👍

JP didn't make the JPRFX barrels at that point. The rifles with the JPRFX barrels just started shipping within the last few months.
@@bhoges5145 yeah that was the standard barrel before the release of this barrel. But i feel your pain
What trigger do you have in that JP? Got mine two weeks ago and am ready to swap out the factory trigger. Thanks
Josh, how many mils at 400?
Still not as good as a bolt gun but pretty damned good ....sure wish I had 3500.00 to get one ....maybe one day
The JP website says the trigger is adjustable between 3-5 pounds. Is it really a 3# trigger?
I am using a lancer lower with a timney calvin elite. Im sure there trigger is as advertised
What does a rifle like this cost?
Full rifle is about 3k.
So that means it’s about five grand plus here in Australia, it is what it is, great vid mate cheers Yogi 🤙✌️
