The song shows Nemos life story. After classical music and working as a kid in Musicals, Nemo became with 16 years the greatest swiss german rapper in Switzerland.
Some years ago, Nemo changed to english and pop.
And of course, their story on gender identity.
Nemo actually sang opera in the local theater when they were about 14 years old
This explains a lot! 😊
From 9 to 13 or 14, opera and musicals. With 15/16 Nemo was a famous rapper in Switzerland. Then kind of pop. Until 19/20. Regardless what Nemo did it was always great and never one style only. The song is Nemo's history. That's why the rap part is there.
Then Nemo almost disappeared, worked as a producer and songwriter. Nemo released some songs/videos where they were singer, songwriter, producer, camera, cut. More independent and artistic and out of mainstream.
The Swiss delegation has been inviting Nemo for many years. Nemo always declined. Then they went to the song writing camp thinking to write a song for someone else. Nemo is not that organized and kind of lives in the moment. And wants to write and perform and produce music and earn enough to live. It doesn't seem Nemo wants to be famous and works for it. They just want to make music for people.
@@DramaQueenMalena thanks for correcting/ adding more insight! Even tho i live in switzerland i'm really bad at swiss music trivia!
@@sunorasu3118 Oh, I wasn't correcting... I should learn how to read better... I just saw local theater...
This song is so good and so personal and you can feel how deeply meaningful and emotional for nemo its almost an attack on your very being.
"How many genres do you want in this song?"
Nemo: yes
Also Nemo is non-binary so they go by they/them
That explains how they can hit all the notes
he
i would call it a bit of jury pandering , still a banger song though.
@@Elujins you would be wrong then
@@Elujins lol, the tele vote does not agree
From the Opera "The Magic Flute" from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.... the aria of the queen of the night, that´s what the high notes at the beginning sounds like
Correct - Nemo sang the Papageno as a 9 years old in a School project
He deserved to win, but I think this year there was a lot of really good artists and performance.
"Baby lasagna" from Croatia, and of course "Slimane" from France (but as I'm french maybe I'm not really objective), but when I heard that the band from Norway was the last, I really can't understand it was in my top 5.
They/them not he
@@cptmiller9566 C'mon...
It's an artist. Period.
@@ooO0VicariouS0Ooo they are an artist yes but that doesn't change anything, respecting their pronouns is still very important...
@@max_3660nooo
@@max_3660 i think they mine a lot of pepole or am i wrrong but he's only one
The band "Eluveitie" is also from Switzerland. I love them, how they combine heavy sound with groul male voice and beautiful female voice, medieval instruments, folk music. And some of their songs are in dead Gallish language (like song "Epona"). You gonna also love another cool songs "The Call Of The Mountains", "Havoc", "Reborn", "Breathe", "Inis Mona", "Alesia"...
Don’t worry, many had the same reaction like you but most of them started loving the song at some point, just give it some time 😉
"I don't even know what's the genre." Brilliant!
😂
You didn't pay attention to the text. That's why you didn't understand the song. The song is about how he searched and found himself. Only when he realized that he was neither 0 nor 1 and broke the binary code did he begin to live.
he? lmao
Nemo being a they/them non binary icon
She probably did not know that Nemo is non binary. Once you know, than you understand it is very personal and deep. This song and performance is a master class!
If you pay attention to the lyrics you will realize that they are connected.. it’s a journey with different experiences presented in different form of music..
@@sinanharmanci1057 Being non-binary myself and having already known that Nemo is nonbinary as well, the lyrics there are extremely powerful and hit hard.
But i understand how cis people would overlook that part or think it had something to do with the Matrix or computers.
The rap part was ver enjoyable, the whole song and performance was very enjoyable🎉
this is a crazy artistic masterpiece
I agree with the musical thing! It immediately gave me the feeling of watching a theater show ♥ Acting, dancing and singing! SO talented ^^
Wonderful performance
The best 😉 Switzerland 🇨🇭
I am the kind of person who only watches the final. I was so enamoured with their song, and their joy on stage. I'm very happy they won!
Congratulation to Nemo.
Please check out Benjamin Ingrosso.(between act part final.👌🌟.
Hug from Sweden 🇸🇪
This song is about selfdiscovering and its pure magic; a masterpiece!
If we are confused then we love it
The song sounds exactly like a WINNER! 👍
Nemo is actually known in Switzerland as a rapper.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
IMO the rap part was essential in the story of this song becaus Nemo is telling their story and Rap was a big part when Nemo started their career.
Makes sense it takes you a few listens. If you want something a *little* bit more tame, I recommend the Orchestral Version. It’s slowed down a little bit and a little bit less busy I think. Might be more interesting to you.
Thanks for the suggestion 😊
@@InnaSoloMusic Of course! I loved the original version, but when the Orchestra and Acoustic versions came out, I added them right to the top of my spotlfy! I now prefer the Orchestra version. It’s just SO clean. I hope you enjoy it more the more you listen to it! :)
I would have liked Ireland to win, cause it was a good song, a bit crazy but good, a bit scary maybe..lol.. this is not the worst song to win, it was surely one of the best i think..
What do you think Of Nemo ❤
No, I am not confused.
Can you react to more Eurovision songs? This year had many great ones. Croatia and Ukraine for example
Yello is a Swiss Band too.
Can you react to Ireland Grand FInal Version? It's really good as well; but also the performance is a major factor. I recommend it c:
Dj Bobo is from Switzerland ;)
LOL I didn't know that, good old days.
Well neighbor. How is your day?
No he. Nemo is a non binary persone. They is the right pronounce
And who asked?

the song cant be longer than 3 mins due to eurovision rule
Original song its one of rules you should do ireland to

Don't damn me guns n roses
The audience [rightly] wanted something they had not seen or heard before. As you say this is like from a musical or opera. It has to be seen! I didn't follow the rap either but it seems that "they" nailed it. An incredible performance. However, if the jury had not been politically biased, Israel would have won. Their song is following the traditional ballad format (like France) and is about suffering, loss, but also about love and moving on related to the Hamas attack. Very touching. I think the first 5 positions were really good. Lots of the other songs were pretty awful like the contributions from Finland and the UK. The latter received ZERO points from the public! Have this ever happened before?
chances are croatia or france would’ve won, not isreal which was a pretty lacklustre ballad.
Дивно якось, каже вона англійською, але розумію все що каже. Якось без акценту.
at eurovision only have 3 minutes for each song and can expect everything at that show, that song won only on the jury gave it top points in the next in the 37 countries
"that song won only on the jury gave it top points in the next in the 37 countries"
That's just false. The song may wasn't one of the top audience votes, but it nevertheless had a lot of voters. And it was from a music writing and preforming standpoint just the best song. So the juries (it was 36, not just one) had no choice than give it a lot of points. That's the job of a jury. To give the points to the best song, from a more technical and less emotional side. The strength of a jury is to vote for the best song, not the one their heart is beating for. The audience on the other hand can vote for what ever they want and that's ok as well.
Not hating, but Nemo's pronouns are they/them just saying for reference :)
Thanks for informing me 😊
@@InnaSoloMusic No problem 😁
Very nice insights, this song reminds me the "bohemian raphsody", and it definitely can be the next james bond song.
Also not my cop of tea, but well deserved to be the winner.
I recommend you reacting to "hurricane" by Eden Golan that finished in 5th place 😊
Don't blame you i never watch it.
You also have to react to France. Really crazy vocals too
React French please 🥹🥹😊
What a nonsense song...
a rigged victory by the jury, he was 4 in the semi-final and only 5 in the televoting of the final, unfortunately😮
Oh. Thank you Inna for reaction. Song - very plastic to me.

This show today there is show of sick decadence.
Croatia next?
Croatia was a boring party song. Please not 😂
Good singer but like you not my cuo of tea
HE had a great song
They certainly did.

Please point out the other person ?? I see one person
@@seanreacts6961 „They“ does not neccessarily refer to two persons. It can also refer to one person (and btw thats formal English for about 20 years)
@@leonpatzold3562 it’s a man or a woman used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to two or more people or things previously mentioned or easily identified.
"I bathed the kids and read them stories"
“Oxford Dictionary
@@seanreacts6961 "The Oxford English Dictionary traces singular they back to 1375, where it appears in the medieval romance William and the Werewolf. Except for the old-style language of that poem, its use of singular they to refer to an unnamed person seems very modern. Here’s the Middle English version: ‘Hastely hiȝed eche . . . þei neyȝþed so neiȝh . . . þere william & his worþi lef were liand i-fere.’ In modern English, that’s: ‘Each man hurried . . . till they drew near . . . where William and his darling were lying together.’ "
The whole thing is a joke, has nothing to to do with music, its all about the alphabet gang
That´s a song for kids. Looking forward to your next rock music reaction :)
Proof that the winning country is chosen based on secondary reasons and not by the song as it should be!
