I'm a 51yo, who has watched Eurovision every year as far back as I can remember. This performance is the most intense, jaw dropping, visually stimulating, technically perfect performance I have ever seen at Eurovision. Should Bambie Thug win. YES! But it's Eurovision, and sometimes people don't win who you think should. We witnessed artistic genius and again as an Irish person I am so admiring and proud ,not least because Bambi Thug is referencing the wealth and riches of ancient Irish pagan and druidic culture ( their use of Ogham calligraphy and symbolism) Evidence of Irish pagan culture and ritual is still scattered throughout the Irish Landscape ( New Grange, Knowth, and Dowth, standing stones, passage graves, and dolmens)

As a 33 irish man been asking for something like this for years it makes me so proud it has me crying
On top of this performance being a masterclass in lighting, camera work, use of props and choreography. Can we also take a moment to appreciate the fact Bambie is en pointe (on their tip toes in ballet) for most of the performance while singing. That takes a great level of concentration to achieve.
Furthermore, as any Scream Queen (Jamie Lee Curtis etc) will tell you it can be incredibly difficult to execute a perfect scream/screech on queue,. Bambie makes it look effortless in how they both dance and switch vocal styles of singing.
People might not like this song, but you cannot deny the theatrical brilliance of this performance.

While other contestants are satisfied with simply singing a song or repeating the same dance breaks over and over again, Bambie is combining all existing types of art to create a mesmerizing mélange of genreless dark art, theatrical drama, elegiac dance and visual grandeur... If someone would have told me before, I wouldn't have believed that such a performance is even possible. But what becomes clear is that you just need the right creative people in the right place to make history! I have never seen something like this before: Bambie will rise from an independent artist to a world star.😍 And I couldn't be happier because we share the same dreams and values!
