The production on this performance is out of this world, on a whole other level than a lot of the other performances. It didn't feel like I was watching a stage performance, I was living it, wow wow wow. My winner for this year 🙌✨
I've been repeating the same exact thing! This didn't look like a simple live performance AT ALL!!! The way it was shot and produced made it seem like a high budget horror movie or music video! Best staging production in the whole history of The Eurovision Song Contest without a doubt!!!🖤🖤🖤

Ive been a Bambie fan since the beginning (and even before they were announced) and I always felt alone with that. I'm overwhelmed by the fact that everyone is praising this and stand before them!!! I'm so happy for Ireland and Bambie and their team.

Technically the greatest thing to ever grace the ESC stage! It’s so cinematic. For three minutes you forget that you’re in an arena and are transported to another world that’s both terrifying and gorgeous. A masterpiece. Immediately jumped to my #1

Ireland have always been at the forefront of gothic horror. Bram Stoker, Sheridan LeFanu, Neil Jordan etc. Our folklore is full of it. And we more or less invented Halloween in its current form.

You have such empathy, even when it comes to performances that are less to your taste - regarding the symbolism, I can tell you that some of the markings on her face are written in "ogham", an early medieval alphabet that was used to scrawl Irish-language messages on stones. It's typically read from the base to the top, and I have been told that she had originally written "ceasefire" in ogham on her face, though the production may have intervened to have this removed.
You are correct, originally the Ogham spelled out “ceasefire” but the EBU instructed them to change it so for this performance it said “Crown the Witch”

Зло это наше несовершенство, наше недоверие к себе и миру, ненависть- это просто отсутствие нужной информации. Я начала его смотреть из-за критики и ...................ошеломлена и покорена. ЭТО ИСКУССТВО.Это ГЕНИАЛЬНО. Сколько трюков, символов, смыслов за 3 минуты. Какая экспрессия, необычный мощный вокал, великолепная пластика, (балет и монстр!!!) актерское мастерство, мимика актеров, напряжение, эффекты....Каждое их движение тщательно продумано и четко исполнено. Это целый спектакль история за 3 минуты. Об этом хочется говорить и смотреть еще и еще... И это не развращает как некоторые думают, а наоборот делает нас философами, заставляет размышлять и пробуждает в нас новые чувства. Спасибо им. Привет из России)))

Bambie is not only an artist who renders me speechless on a daily basis and is my biggest inspiration these days, but also an addictively charming human being who can make countless hearts jump for joy with their infectious smile. What is haunting me at night and day is that this easily exceeds everything people considered a Eurovision performance before - Bambie is setting new standards that will change Eurovision for decades to come. Of course "Doomsday Blue" works as a song and is travelling through an insane amount of genres and Bambie's vocals are on point no matter if they're dancing ballet or defeating the toxic boyfriend with an inferno of screams and in the middle of a firestorm, but the one aspect that makes me crazy in the most positive way is that this show has cinematic qualities and almost feels like a movie! While other contestants are satisfied with simply singing a song or repeating the same dance breaks over and over again, Bambie is combining all existing types of art to create a mesmerizing mélange of genreless dark art, theatrical drama, elegiac dance and visual grandeur... If someone would have told me before, I wouldn't have believed that such a performance is even possible. But what becomes clear is that you just need the right creative people in the right place to make history! I have never seen something like this before: Bambie will rise from an independent artist to a world star.😍 And I couldn't be happier because we share the same dreams and values! I definitely won't take any rest until the witch is crowned!🇮🇪🧙♀️👑🖤🌙

Но .если оно пробуждает твои чувства, от него мурашки, если оно будоражит, вызывает бурю эмоций и внутренних споров.....

I am Irish, living in Ireland so perhaps am biased. Trying to keep my pride aside, friends & I were spellbound by what we saw on stage from Ireland last night. It has exceeded the joy that Riverdance brought to our country in the 90's. I am a very keen Eurovision fan but for the first time an artist has way surpassed what is expected of a Eurovision act. This has entered into the realm of true art. How is it that they condensed into 3 minutes the story telling that would take a good novel several 100 pages to tell ?!!! Can Ireland win? It doesn't really matter to me. This wonderful performance is now there forever. So grateful to you Bambi for giving us this moment of joy!

I’m a Christian and a Conservative(most of the time) and I absolutely love Bambi Thug’s performance and song. I wasn’t offended at all. I walk around singing this song all the time. It’s my favorite of all time. And I think Bambi Thug is one of the nicest people in the world. Ireland forever!💚☘🍀🇮🇪

Also props to you for being one of the few reaction videos I've seen about Eurovision which recognises the "situation" (for want of a better term to be allowed on youtube) in Gaza. Depressing fact: Bambi originally was wearing face paint which said something along the lines of "ceasefire" or "free Palestine" in Ogham script (basically ancient Irish writing) but they were told by the EBU that they had to change their for the live performance, now it says "Crown The Witch"
