PROBLEM: After riding for about 1-2 blocks my turn signals would quit working.
I checked my switchs and my wiring, I ohm'd and checked for signal to the Turn Signal Module and everything was GREAT.... then I'd ride for a short ways and then the turn signals would just stop working.
I searched the web over and over and found NO ANSWERS! (that I liked)
Here's your answer!! Watch my video & if it helps you out, please leave a thumbs up and please be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my channel

I have an 02 Ultra, the turn signals started with not cancelling after turns, then no start after riding a while, found to be my TSSM, Turn Signal Security Module. Glad you're fixed.

Very good video, Never knew that was there, If I had to do that to mine, I would bolt a outlet box to the bike, sideways at the attachment point, for the module, and then bolt the module to the box, at least two inches higher up.👍🇺🇸

Good video, I put new bars on my 97 model, having turn signal problems. I'll check this out. I'd pit a small strip of heat wrap on the bottom so your new one doesn't get to hot. Thanks good video.

Mark Jones Yes the module is not cheap at all! I didn’t want to pay it either, but I finally ponied up.
It would seem that there is no other kind of module that does the same thing as this module.
I heard it was located on the right side panel behind the fuse block

I have a 2013 ultra classic electra glide. Just lost the left signal. I'll look into the module now after bulbs, plugs, and wiring thanks

David Santistevan I would start with all the very obvious things first, as you said lightbulbs may be a break in the wire somewhere. My problem turned out to be an intermittent problem came and went. At this any rate I wish you the best of luck!

I have 2006 FLHTCU with Factory Alarm. I'm guessing this would be the same location for the TSSM (Turn Signal Security Module)? I will be checking when I get home.... My little red key on my gauges came on over the weekend & now I have no Tachometer or speedometer! I have been having some issues with turn signals since last year..... Hopefully this helps as n ihave tried to get codes by holding down the trip button and turning the switch to on(with RUN on too) ..... no luck there.

@Robert Zuccaro - Yes I have it all working now. Except for the front right turn. But think I have a bad wire somewhere on that. Mostly went through all fuses and connections.... The accessories fuse was bad but not visibly....Had to use a tester.

Did you not think of making a small square metal plate for the new module to sit on? This might keep the module from over heating again.

@@mikegreene163 I would place some building insulation in there to stop the heat transfer at the very least. Doesn't burn, and will lower the temperature inside that area a great deal.
