  • This is on my 2000 harley sportster and should work with most harleys i ordered the parts from
    m.ebay.com/sch...
    It came with 2 resister for about $5
    Its cheap and better than using a car resister which will not work right
    Please message with any questions i will be more than happy to help !

    I have a 2000 Dyna Low Rider, and my right turn signal acts funny too. With my bike, if you just turn the key to on position, the signal works fine. But as soon as the bike is running, it just stays on solid and does not blink, only the right turn signal lol. Anyway, I will give this a shot and let you know if it works, thanks for the vid!

    My 2003 Sportster does this same thing. Engage either side turn signal and it is steady on. I basically would manually engage/disengage with my thumbs to simulate a proper signal while turning. Probably not the safest thing to do. I wasn't sure if a load equalizer box would even help. I don't have LEDs. I will try this out. Thanks man!!! Much appreciated for the video.

      Hey ! So if u dont have any LED and its doing that i would cheapest.. 1. Replace all bulbs 2. Make sure your connectors to each bulb is secure (because the solder could break loose on one) , 3. Check fuses and if all is checked out ok no corrosion on the contacts for the bulb the check that grey box that i was showing in the video

    Having a faulty OEM turn signal canceler on my XLH 883 Deluxe, I'm planning to install a Badlands ATS-03-A Canceler which is also a load equalizer, then I can use it with classical bulbs or leds without any further change. My guess is that adding a relay for having leds to blink is just a nice workaround, but the root cause being the load not adapted for leds, a load equalizer should be the proper solution.

    Here is a rehash of the video: Guy puts an LED tail light on the sportster, eliminating the 2 stock turnsignals on the rear of the bike and discovers that the led goes into either a hyper-flash mode or a frozen mode. Buying the adjustable relay flasher cured the problem. The frozen light now flashes as if normal because there is a load stabilizer built into the signal flasher. Problem solved.

    What is the real way to fix this problem ? This is adding flashers to the wiring harness that is not part of the original wiring system. I don't like cutting into the wiring harnesses because this can cause more problems down the road. If you are installing LED lights you should use resisters for the stock system to work right.
    I am having this same problem where the signal lights light up and stay solid then the emergency lights will flash. So I will spend some time to figure out what is the problem and how to correctly fix this.
    I'm not knocking this video and it is a well put together. But all I'm saying is that there has to be a way to fix this without adding flasher.
    I bought the module from HD and it was not the problem. The module is 159.44 dollars out the door. lot of money to spend on a part and didn't solve the problem.
    If I can not solve this problem I will resort to this fix which is quite cool and should be ok for awhile.
    Thanks for the video I'm sure it's helped a lot of people.

    Can't you just buy that box that's attached to the rear fender w/o having to go through the trouble of splicing and connecting those flasher modules? If that's the prob then just replace it.

    • @ohsoofunny4763
      @ohsoofunny4763  Před 5 lety

      The box attached to the fender isnt the problem. Problem is for some reason when you put l.e.d lights it causes everything not to flash when its supposed to so only way i know was to buy a resister that controls and make the l.e.d flash. And the problem happens when you change 1 light to LEDs or all to LEDs for some reason wont flash
