Flying Torpedo Review (for Scenario Launchers)

Review of the Small World Toys Active Edge collection Flying Torpedo. I bought this on Amazon hoping it would be an alternative for the increasingly hard to find Nerf Aero Flyer, commonly used in paintball/airsoft scenario games. It is not. It fits (very tightly) in a 3" PVC barrel. So tightly, in fact, that when I launched it from a 4' long 3" PVC barrel it immediately turned 20 degrees off the axis. The tail bent a bit. The fins, which are kinda flimsy and came bent, survived the launch. The whistles worked well. This product might be good for throwing, but not for scenario launchers.
