Rain Cap Breech Loading Nerf Rocket Launcher Idea

This is an unfinished design I worked on for a breech loading mechanism for a Paintball/Airsoft Nerf football "rocket" launcher. It uses a 2-3/4" Exhaust Rain Cap that I bought at Tractor Supply Co. The other parts I had lying around my workbench. I could never get a setup that I was happy with. Hopefully someone will take this idea and make it better.

I finished it, it now works perfectly, all I needed was a stopper for the breach, I used a foam furniture pad to plug it.

For a seal, a thick rubber washer just smaller than the barrel attached to the exhaust cover might work.
