Elisha Cook Jr considered himself a "mountain man". He steered clear of Hollywood and only stayed in the city while working. When not working, he lived in a cabin the the Sierra's, where he spent his time hunting and fishing.
Always enjoyed watching him in the movies and his numerous TV appearances

Nice little walk down memory lane. This sure depicts a different era. Note how they mention radio tubes, cork-tip cigarettes, Sugar Stamps (part of WWII food rationing)... also note the Forest Service Woodie that Don drives.
