Next year my 1992 Timberwolf 250 will be 30 years old. Just ordered it's first ignition coil and wire. Other than oil and filters, an occasional carb rebuild, new tires and the second set of wheel bearings this has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.
my thing is nowadays what's the point when carbs are so cheap, you can buy a new carb for like $20 or so on eBay and Amazon if you want a performance one it's way more around $100 but well worth it.
What are you going to do if you can’t get packages lol? See that’s the thing, some people don’t like to depend on anyone but themselves. Very very VERY useful knowledge here. Also, this is 2 hours instead of a week of waiting for parts. Add another week if you get the wrong size. Add up to 4 more weeks for shipping oopsies that happen from time to time. Then, when you install your cheap Amazon carb you better pray it lasts. Mikuni is in business for a reason. And it’s not to be cheap brother! Buy/rebuild nice or cry twice. 😅
If you hit the gas is that when it stutters? If so that could be a dirty main jet of low level in the fuel bowl. What model is your carb and I can compare it to mine. Mine has the original carburetor on it.
@@PowerPlantMan idk the model of the carb but it's not the OG. Because it doesn't have the factory choke. It has a pull choke on carb. The way it's acting is almost like the brake Rev limiter problem that's common on warriors. It starts first or second pull. A/f both adjusted to 1 half it's only on the mid throttle range first of throttle is fine no stutter mid throttle nothing but stutter. Ordered new carb will see

What is the gold/clear line attached to the carb that is above the fuel inlet and where does it go to I cannot figure that out thank you !
It goes no where it's a bleeder type vent line
There's water in the gas it's raining in the video and you have nothing over gas cal that's why carb was gunked up.

Mines has a mid throttle stutter that I can't get rid of. I think someone put the wrong carb on mine

@@PowerPlantMan also cleaned carb and adjusted needle to fourth from top. Stutter is still there
