    The more I learn about the Black kids in this scene and about Basquiat, the more I realize how amazing they were. It takes courage and a deep understanding of self to move in spaces where we’re in the minority. I’m grateful for them being unapologetically punk and Black🙏🏾🖤

    This dude continuously compares himself to Basquiat and it’s really annoying. Nobody cares about his little movie that he directed either. We just wanted to hear about Basquiat.
