Thank you for the honest review in a sea of influencer BS. We have a 5 year old original basic ecosa that was firm when we bought it, and it's just gotten worse each year. Tried numerous toppers and finally decided to just replace the damn thing, as we're both developing issues from it.
Have still been tempted to give one of their hybrids a go, as the price is so much better than most brick and mortar stores.. and trying to navigate all the various brands and true value for money in those places is nightmarish.
Has the softness improved at all? Would love to just go with the pure, but seeing that same initial firmness we had with ours worries me, despite it not being a hybrid like this... and knowing how bad ours started to feel in the first year..
Wish mattress shopping was simpler. Have no idea what to buy now, but really appreciate the honest review though!
I dont think the firmness has improved to significantly but more my body is use to it now.
Overall it's good!
Nice review mate I had the same problem trying to find some more info and reviews on this bed.
Ended up buying it probably about the same time as you with the sales they had on.
Got the pure too with the bed frame and yes the first night was disappointing, it’s slowly feeling better but definitely firm.
Thinking about getting the topper but not sure if it’s going to fit the pure mattress?

Hard to find any information on this bed so I thought I would contribute with a wee review.
I’m finding it better and better in regards to firmness, I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels and notice how soft the beds are.
Ecosa do sell a topper just be mindful the fitted sheets still fit as the topper is quite thick as is the mattress.
Hi Andrew… at the end you mentioned the side are not good and you could roll off the edges.. is this still the case? Have they firmed up over time? How bad is it or is it ok?

Side firmness has not changed, I haven't fallen out but it is soft towards the edge.
Unlike normal spring mattresses this has more roll away on the edge like a foam would.
If it’s so supportive why does it “dip in too much” for a side sleeper ?

Sturdy, well designed and built frame.
Can squeak if the base rubs against the frame but a quick tweak will stop that

Good thanks, I travel a lot for work and have always looked forward to getting back to my bed.
It’s changing as a mattress (getting a bit softer) very hard to explain.

Which one is better ? does this have the sinking feel and is it easy for a all position sleeper to move around?
These don't have changeable firmness it's just the one.
It's good now we are used to it.
No sinking feeling, you are much more on the bed rather than in it if that makes sense....
@AndrewHague14 the pure should definitely have 2 firmness choices. I've been following this mattress since it came out. I love latex. Although I feel that they might have changed one layer to memory foam. But you should have a flippable layer softer on one side, harder on the other with microsprings in-between. 😊

What about the smell at the beginning? This mattress has a latex as top layer. Did you feet that rubber smell?
No not particularly.
It's hard to remember back that far, I do not smell or remember anything of that nature.
It's a great bed
What is the only complain about the bed or what you want them to improve on.
It is quiet firm so I think advertising as such would greatly help people's expectations.
Also I thing the edge needs a touch more support.
@@AndrewHague14 That's what I noticed in the video. When you sit on the edge, it sinks. They need to fix that.

Comparative to other beds it's affordable, made well and now after an adjustment period we sleep well.
