I got the 12 inch Zinus about 6 mos ago and I love it.In fact the family loved it so much we bought 2 more (a 10" and another 12"). There's a noticeable difference between the 10 and 12 with the 12 being more comfortable. I can't imagine an 8 inch but that company makes a good affordable product so who knows. If you look to buy one I'd recommend spending 300$ to get the 12 inch version. Theres's a lot more foundation foam to make it hold up longer and there are differences in the thicknesses of the upper foam layers as well which makes them more comfortable IMO.
Zinus has a handful of lawsuits against them for their fibreglass they put in their products and the health problems it has caused. I would never buy a zinus
I sleep on a love seat bed. I use an additional 4-inch mattress on top of the worthless mattress they usually come with. I just purchased a new love seat and need a new mattress. With this new couch, the seating area of the couch and the back which gets lowered becomes part of the bed. Then another part pulls out for the legs. The cushioning is a little on the stiff side so I am getting one of these 6 inch mattresses to go on top of the bed, which already has a few inches of cushioning. I should sleep like a baby. Nice review I’ve only ever owned cheap spring mattresses I just ordered my first ever memory foam 10 inch queen size bed. I will be sleeping on the floor until I get a frame though lol.

Watch out for the fiber glass under the mattress cover my dudes! Apparently the zinus is 60% fiberglass and if you read the reviews that had it for a bit and tried to clean the cover or anything you’ll see that they had some reports of lung issues from breathing in the fiber glass or other skin/body irritations from not knowing since it’s literally tons of tiny shards of fiber glass.

I had this mattress and just tossed it out because fiberglass fibers were working their way through the "sock" that encases the mattress. I urge anyone reading this to carefully do their research on memory foam mattresses and how some companies will line the bottom of the mattress cover with fiberglass which overtime works its way out and under your bed to spread around your room. You can find some unfortunate cases online where people have opened this cover and released particles all over their house.
I use to work cleaning fiber glass pipes when I was 20 years old them pink ones with the silver foil lining in them vents I only worked that job for 4 days my experience with fiberglass was the worst i was ichy for days never again this is deal breaker for me no way

Anybody recommending a Zinus Mattress is getting paid to say it or is getting some compensation for it. Zinus customer support and their warranty are both a joke. I have a one of their mattresses and have been trying for over over 6 months to get warranty service from them. Since you can't see the indentations they don't want to cover it. My mattress has areas where it's less firm and other areas that are firm so it creates bumps that put pressure on parts of my body. I have 9 herniated discs in my back and it hurts when one of those bumps presses on certain areas of my body, so I have to constantly move around during the night trying to find a place where the bumps don't hurt me. After retiring from the Air Force the least I want to have at night is a peaceful sleep. What else can we do to get Zinus to honor their warranty?
