man, im staring at 1997 1500 4x4 manual transmission with 260k on the ticker and they are asking $2400. Its rough, dents in the rear truck panels, rust on at least one extended cab lower panel and needs tires and a muffler. also said thier is a bearing noise in the transmission but hasnt affected driving. not sure if I should bite the bullet. offered $2k but owner holds firm at thier price. not sure if i should walk away. nice piece you have there, bit jealous i can't find deals like that around here.

Good video bearded one, however, the oem speaker is not actually "blown", it just has what all older Lexus cars have happen and that is the foam surround has dry rotted. You can order new replacement "surrounds" for next to nothing and reuse the stock speaker which is Ideally matched for the Mark Levinson amplifier.

About your oscillating vents, the reason they don't blow in opposing directions is because there isn't a passenger in your car. Technically they're in driver mode in your video

Yes yes finally the Third Gen gets some attention again, and so will I give my own Third Gen some attention by trying to get that cup-holder. Hopefully they also send this cup holder to The Netherlands, Europe. Say, do you have any experience with removing the black IROC fake hood-Vents and replacing them for functioning hood vents ? Cause driving my convertible slow during hot summer days, the temp of the engine tends to rise and why they didn't make those vents functional in the first place really is a good question I'd say. Maybe even electric driven by thermostat open and close hood-vents would be excellent, but those "always open" Hood vents will do as well.

Why in the world would someone put labels on their toolbox drawers. If you don’t know what is in the drawers of your own box… I’ve been a mechanic since 1980 and have never labeled a drawer or have any mechanic I’ve ever worked with. I know I’m going to catch a lot of crap for this post. Believe me I’m not a hater, just stating my observation.

As someone pointed out, you’re actually rotating what would be the column shifter. It also houses the neutral safety switch. I have a 75 Grand Prix that I put headers on. It’s a console shift. There’s a rod underneath the car that actuates that part of the column. With headers you have to bend that rod. I don’t have a vise so I just took it off. When you shift the console shifter, that part of the column will rotate. I have 2 pieces of electrical tape on this I have to line up for the back up lights to work.

The delay is how long it stays dark after you're done producing an arc. Not how long it takes to initiate the auto darkening...
