Thank you gentlemen as always for the information. But as SleepOvation is stuck back in the mid-20th century for mattress sizes i ended up purchasing the full extra long i needed recently from Restonic, a hybrid. Very much enjoying it so far. Back and legs feel fine in the morning and i don't remember tossing and turning often during the night like i did on my old mattress.
We need a new mattress so badly, but they're so expensive!
All the good ones really are expensive, but if you can swing it, just remember you shouldn't have to buy another one for one or two decades after that purchase!

Hi I am in the UK, and about to buy probably my 7th mattress in 20 years, they are never quite right. I also have Ankylosin Spondylitis, so also would love recommendations for a pillow.
I could really use a mattress that this one. I have basically no disc between my last vertebrae and my tailbone. Getting a good nights sleep is nearly impossible for me. May have to try this one out. Thanks for the review.

When it comes to mattresses, I am a very satisfied Sleep Number mattress owner. It is an adjustable air mattress, and it is the most comfortable one I have ever had. I noticed that it is good to change the firmness up or down occasionally for the body to have different stress and relax points from time to time. This adjustable feature is the only way to do that. If I did not have this bed, I would try that one you recommend. Have a good night, Bob & Brad. Thank you again for all that you do. P.S., it would be nice to have the camera pan over to see Bob from time to time. I miss seeing him. God Bless you guys.
My only issue with that mattress (which I did love) is that once you get a leak (about 16 years for me), it is essentially unrepairable... Of course I could not afford a new mattress at that point due to health issues making me unable to work more than part time, so I have been sleeping on the floor ever since.
My main issue is that with a setting less than 50, it sags in the middle so much it's difficult to stay on either side. So half the range is unusable.
@@shdwbnndbyyt when my sleep number finally gave up after 20 years, I bought a cheap air mattress for about $50 until i could get a new one.
@@ConniRPaul I have a cheap air mattress, but cannot use it because my small pups like to sleep with me... The Sleep number bed had a thick enough cover to protect it from them....
@@shdwbnndbyyt if you had a pillow top on the sleep number, you could perhaps put it on top of the air mattress?
I have a mattress pad that the top zips off instead of removing the entire thing--one of the best purchases I've made, just wish I could find them still since I want a queen size bed instead of a full when I buy a new mattress.

1. Based on the title, I was expecting an actual review of a mattress that was used for 5 years, not just a repeat of the initial sales spiel. Do you have ANY review info on how well this holds up over time?
2. I've had a Sleepovation mattress for just over 2 years. A "valley" has formed where I lay and it makes it difficult to change positions. It "forces" me, basically, onto my back. Also it is much less supportive than it was. I now wake up with a painful and stiff back. I will look into a warranty replacement as this expensive mattress should not be breaking down so soon.
SleepOvation customer service was fast and friendly. And they are honoring the warranty. Yay. ❤
I have been using a Sleepovation mattress for over 5 years without any issues. My wife thinks it may have gotten softer but certainly no "valley formation". I am glad to hear Sleepovation is honoring its warranty professionally. That is what we expected. Sincerely Brad

Doesn’t it defeat the individual sections when you have a bed sheet? They need a cover or sheet that allows the sections to function properly.

We are sorry you feel that way, however other people have asked for things like this so we research what we think is best in our professional opinion.
I've slept on 4 inch foam mattresses on top of damaged hollow core doors for the past 40 years and on a 5 inch thick wool mattress for the recent 5 years. I'm fine. I'm 82 years old; I stand straight and no pains. I personally think the mattress business is basically a huge expensive fraud. Just loose some weight, ditch drama and stress, get active, dance, help helpless people and stop believing the mattress surveys and promos .... then most of y'all will be just fine
