My Dad always belonged to a Bass Club growing up. So my family would usually go down for the weigh ins. He'd toss me the keys and I'd get the trailer. Having half a brain I would zip in and zip out.
Those jet skies remind me of those little gnats flying around you at picnics. Just hanging around for no reason.
25 minutes! Glad we have park rangers and marina employees to keep things moving. In the absence of both, other boaters would "convince" you to get off the ramp and move away from the dock. If it takes more than a couple of minutes, you're doing it WRONG!
This drives me bonkers. Unbelivable how selfish the people are.
If I ran a boat ramp, I would have signs posted in the entry to do all boat prep in the parking lot before launching. By the time he did all that, his guest would have arrived and could load in the boat as well. Than just launch, float around away from the docks waiting for trailer parker. Nose into the end of the dock, trailer parker steps on, back away, enjoy the lake.
If you can't get your boat off on a trailer in less than two minutes your a dock pirate....and shouldn't be boating.....I need to do a video....

Lived on a public lake for 18 within walking distance of a public launch. During the summer I wouldn't even attempt to fish unless it was raining and all pleasure boaters were gone.
