One time she got drown in gator lake with key item when playing single-player. When I played as her in multiplayer, I got name called insistently because I kept falling into deep water with BOWs or got lost because I got cornered and had to run off.
I was a nightmare of the moving living item box.

Yoko may be the most important character lore wise among the eight outbreak characters, due to her past connection to umbrella and her contribution for taking down umbrella
Here's another fact! She's the character I Main in outbreak and outbreak file 2, because of her extra inventory.

Loving your series on the Outbreak characters. I often feel like I can't explore the game for lore, but rather have to hurry due to the viral time constraint, so this certainly helps fill in some blanks.
You never have to hurry in outbreak unless you get floored. Natural virus speed takes hours when the levels are 30-50 minutes tops in a casual run (file 2 a little longer but still nowhere close).

Also, back when I first started playing, I really didn't know any of the puzzles, and wasn't all that great at the game (taking damage and being incapacitated raises virus percentage) I also didn't know use of herbs stalls the virus gauge, and generally tried to keep the aipcs alive thereby resource starving myself (I still do this some, more towards the start of a level), not to mention, I was horrible with resource management to begin with. So, back then it wasn't all that uncommon for me to die from virus.
I’d love to see one of Ashley Graham on one of these lists. Especially since nobody talks about how her and Heather Mason have basically the same outfit, blonde short hair, and hazel/amber eyes. I think Ashley was a parody of Heather, since Silent Hill was popular at that time while Resident Evil was kind of back and forth before RE4, and the fact Ashley not only couldn’t fight, but was very whiny p, making me think that Ashley was also making fun of the fact Silent Hill characters don’t fight back like Resident Evil characters do.
Another fact. In The End of the Road, if you use a disk (that you use to upgrade the Tyrant) into a computer inside the room that you unlock by using a crowbar. You can find a file the researchers and Yoko's name is on it.
Also if you charge Yoko's push in File 2, she can will immediately do her crawl ability.
If you press the ad-lib button while reading that file, I believe she says something like "I don't want to keep reading this" and/or maybe about her head hurting? But take it with a grain of salt, it's been so long since I last did that.
As for the push, it's the opposite. Pushing normally will initiate the crawl whereas holding the push will trigger a "stronger" push and she'll just bounce backwards. Quickly chaining a second charged push usually makes the zombies fall on their knees (somewhat similar to Kevin or George's tackles, as it incapacitates them temporarily)
Yoko Suzuki, the character I immediately gravitated towards in Outbreak simply for her additional inventory space that she quickly became my favorite. I like to think that what she says about T-Virus and her cells being used is very much canon to the series. Man, watching these videos just always makes me wisht at File 3 became a reality, seeing what other tidbits could have been erected from the games and what other interesting pieces of lore could have surfaced. Raccoon City and it's downfall will always be an extremely fascinating setting with practically endless potential.
Same reasons for me. The first time I played Outbreak and try every characters, Yoko has caught my attention, simply because of her additional inventory, which I find very useful. I always use her the first time I try to beat any scenarios.

Yoko Z is one of the best characters. Normal health (double that of regular Yoko), yet she retains her 4 extra slots and amazing dodge.

She’s a great character for beginners. I used to only play as her when I first played this game (which was back in like 2006 or 2007) but as I got more skilled I gravitated towards Alyssa, David, or Cindy.
Yoko’s card art is so cute. She really is a catch
Back when I first played Outbreak way back when, I actually had a crush on Yoko.
Yoko is my best character choice. Her dodging ability is perfect, her virus gauge moves very slow, not to mention her ability to keep more items than other characters. She is also the most useful AIPC ever, she can keep our key items safe, even scenario items like Bloodpack and Charlie & Len's ID Tags. The downside for Yoko are she moves pretty slow and her vitality is very low compared to any other characters.

One of the weird thing is, ai partner yoko can use items directly from her backpack, but when player is yoko they have to switch the item to the normal inventory to be able to do anything with it. This sounds like a trivial thing but it costs you speed and time in dangerous situations.
Its funny hearing Alyson Court speak outside of the claire redfield role. Immediately takes me back to watching the big comfy couch on YTV.

When i first played Outbreak I was about 15-16 I had the biggest crush in Yoko. Cringe as it sounds I always tried to prioritize protecting Yoko players in game. Always got weird looks from friends who said Cindy and Alyssa where hotter. Forever a Yoko fan boy.

Yoko Z is likely considered an NPC instead of a costume so that it can come with better health than regular Yoko, essentially making it Yoko Training Wheels given her usual lack of health.
I'm rather fond of Yoko. She was always helpful with that backpack.

Btw would you ever do a conversation video explaining why Outbreak would be impossible to make a comeback. Reason I say this is because the Outbreak series is nearly 20 years old and tastes in gaming styles and controls have changed. There is a general complaint from modern RE fans that they can't get into fixed camera or tank control games which can affect their enjoyment in liking outbreak.
Also Capcom may have forgotten what makes outbreak so special to alot of fans, the campaigns in Outbreak are pretty big which makes the coop exploration fun, trading system, multiple ways to end a campaign or take different paths, do events in different ways, depending on difficulty the events will be randomised n changed, also you get to play as civilians who have different items/stats, some of the campaigns's maze like structure is also addictive to figure out, exclusive features depending on difficulty and I just love cooperating with people in this game.
I don't care if this so called file 3 isn't fixed camera angle style, I'm 100% fine if it's modern style aslong as the features I mentioned are still in this "possible" third game.
I think capcom should work with the Outbreak fan community on this new game if it ever gets done.

Yokos alternate costume that acted as a DLC was awesome. For sure it was expensive, something like 50,000 pts if I'm not mistaken. But also if I'm not mistaken meant that you could have 2 yokos. I may be wrong cuz its been forever since I played that game, but essentially meant you could carry more items.

Unfortunately, I never was able to acquire and play file 2.
Bonus Fact: It is unknown whether it is a bug or an intentional feature but Yoko runs 2x faster than other characters with a two handed weapon equipped like a shotgun or assault rifle. This combined with the increased inventory makes Yoko an essential pick for speed runs on certain scenarios.
I believe all characters run the same speed with 2 handed weapons equipped but Yoko’s default speed is just so slow that it’s more noticeable.
