Can dodge bullets and hold back a rocket grenade mid flight. Nemesis could just tank the bullets and possibly the RPG, but lacks the tact and intelligence of Wesker.

Nemesis follows orders, recognizes S.T.A.R. member's faces through photos that were shown to him by the people at umbrella, knows how to use weapons, recognizes weapons because when ever Jill shoots Nemesis with the grenade laucher Nemesis dodges it, and quickly shoots down Jill's escape helicopter because Nemesis knew she would use that to escape.

@ericbonewicz8106 He's the most balanced killer in the game. Has a cool ability in the game that makes you traverse map much quicker and gives survivors the panic of dealing with infections. But he isn't too insane as long as you know his patern and his distance with his ability. Also, he's my main.
I’m so glad you pointed out the fact that the name of the Uroboros virus comes from the Greek mythology about the self eating snake. A perfect analogy for weskers character.
It really fits well with his narrative in RE5 too. He was so calm and collected in the previous games, but here you can really see his sanity start to slip as he furthers his goals and it lead to his ultimate downfall and (probably) demise.
@@FookMi69 yeah in re5 they really tied up weskers character so well. And honestly his design works too. He kinda resembles a black snake with his long tailed snake skin trench coat and red slit eyes. Some people may say it’s a matrix knock off look. But he always resembled a snake to me. I guess the sunglasses lead people to think that but he only wears them because his eyesight is all messed up.

The Uroboros is supposed to symbolize infinity. The constant cycle of life, death and rebirth, which is what his ultimate goal was for the world. He felt the world could only be saved by allowing it to die and then be resurrected into a perfect form. Thence, he named the tool he would use to make it happen Uroboros.
I think the its worth mentioning that as Wesker progresses onward he's given quite a bit of encouragement from the circumstances around him. His body responds to the viruses by turning him into a supervillain whereas nearly all others are simply turned into monsters. This leads Wesker to believe that he's destined to control the world, and it makes his defeat at Chris' hands all the more humiliating. Chris and Jill were supposed to be STARS leftovers. Wesker took out one STARS team easily and it seemd he could do the same to Chris and Jill rather easily, which is why he treated them more as playthings than serious threats. By the time Resident Evil 5 rolls around, Wesker and can barely believe Chris is still alive, much less beating him. Then Chris punches a boulder...yeah I got nothing from that point on.
The boulder sealed Wesker’s fate.
It's funny you called Jill and Chris Stars' leftovers Wesker directly gets called "Umbrella's leftovers" in RE5
The boulder punching thing isn't that weird, because in context it makes sense why he punched it. Pushing it wasn't working, he was in a rush, and the shock from his punch had a good chance of making it move, and it worked

He is a being who loathes humanity as he literally says during the dialogue when you fight him and his plan is to literally kill everyone except the select few he deems "worthy" Injecting them with Uroboros whether they like it or not and even then their only purpose is to worship him as a god and if they dont he will kill them too. @@sam-ht6qv Not pure evil, he was ruthless, betrayed his comrades, amd wanted to painfully mutate the world. He had the lucidity to carry out these plans, he was just massively arrogant. But it was partly justified, he was willing to sacrifice his life for his dreams. Someone who was purely evil wouldn't have the integrity of mind to enact these goals and come close to completing them.
I wonder what kind of relationship he had with Jake's mother. He probably sired many children all over the world, presumably from one night stands.

Something interesting I noticed about Albert Wesker. If im remembering correctly Albert said in one of the wesker reports something along the lines of "power is pointless if it consumes itself" and then he ends up creating the uroboros virus named after a mythical creature known for consuming itself.

It’s funny how despite being a side villain in Code Veronica with only a few minutes of screen time compared to the Ashford Twins, he totally steals the spotlight. Resident Evil 5 should have never killed him off.

Nah dude killing him off in RE5 was the right move. His rivalry with Chris spanned 3 games (4 if you count RE6s storyline with Chris and Jake wesker) & it was the perfect closure for the rivalry. If it went on to RE6 or even RE7 it would have just dragged on and be kind of boring

I'm glad you realized that even if Wesker himself decided to do evil, he became what Spencer and Umbrella made of him. You can't treat people like sh*t and then expect them to be moral and normal people, the world creates its own demons, society creates its own demons, and then cries about it.
Right. So many people are quick to say "well he had a choice" but as the video summarizes succinctly: "When pure evil is where your foundations lie, its no surprise when you come out reflecting exactly what they wanted you to be." We've seen many times before that it's extremely difficult to unlearn what you've been taught since your first breath. How many things do we do or believe just because our parents had taught us so? Props to OP for pointing out that Wesker's character is one steeped in tragedy.
Exactly. Wesker is a villain, but he's a tragic one. Kidnapped and molded into what Umbrella wanted, he didn't have much chance to be anything but a monster.

I can’t help but compare Spencer to Dr. Frankenstein, and Wesker as his creation. The result; Spencer being “Killed by a monster of his own creation.”

Basically and the ending also fits in the original novel, Frankenstine's Monster was said to be way more intellegent than any human even the Dr. that made him, and he was also implied to be starting a Species that will rule the world.
I love how Wesker is literaly the walking cliché character who wears sunglasses all the freaking time just to look like a badass bad guy. There is actually an episode of the animated seties "The Batman" in which a detective follows this cliché and only gets his companion to make fun of him 🤣🤣🤣
I can't help but laugh at the Res1 photo of Wesker and the other scientist. Their all in white labcoats indoors and he still has his sunglasses on.

I've heard there is a psychological reason behind this. It's meant to hide a person's inner thoughts, because over 50 percent of emotions are read through a person's eyes, so when someone wears sunglasses it gives them a psychological advantage over others, which makes sense because Wesker has always had a mysterious and treacherous nature. He never wanted anyone else to know his true intentions.

The whole theater cryied when Wesker said "It's wesking time" and wesked all over the place. Truly a Wesker moment.
You could've added, that his meticulousness also manifests in his being a bit of a gun-nut. His Samurai Edge Beretta 92F is the most customized one of all of S.T.A.R.S. with the custom frame, extended slide release, skeleton hammer, larger mag button and personalized black&gold logo on the grips.
Wesker has to be the best in everything he does.
I'm planning to begin replicating it soon! Wesker is my favourite fictional character so I knew I was going to do this a long time ago.

@@bendakstarkiller1270 I've already got an airsoft version purchased years ago to use as a guide. I'm thinking of starting out with an inox 92FS and then swapping out the slide for a black one, yes! Grips will be custom and slide engravings will be custom. Expensive yes, but very worth it to me!
I was always a fan of Wesker, but when he started dodging bullets in RE5, I knew he was one of my favorite villain of all time. Something about that whole fight scene really made me pay attention to his character as a whole from there on.
So he wasn't your favorite until he started ripping off the Matrix which was a 10 year old movie that had been parodied by everybody up until that point? Damn, you're shallow.

I always thought Wesker in 5 went off the deep end because he found out the truth from Spencer. Realizing he's a manufactured experiment instead of the perfect person he's been told he is since childhood made him snap and he acted out of impulse from then on. He impulsively gutted Spencer immediately after hearing the revelation, conducted experiments out in the open, threw away careful planning for straight up world domination, and for once got personally involved in Chris' affairs. Really makes me appreciate 5's Wesker more. The guy finding out his entire life was a lie made him lash out and say "screw it"

Id like to see one on Trevor Phillips from Grand Theft Auto V.
While being one of the protagonists, Trevor is truly a monster amongst his criminal cohorts. We see that he had an extremely abusive and traumatic childhood, and he has grown in to a mentality unstable sociopath who's crimes include armed robbery, murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, cannibalism, and every other crime under the sun. He at least has some redeeming qualities, such as his unwavering loyalty to his friends, professionalism on "jobs", and his brutal honesty.
As his friend, bank robber Michael Townly, has said "I never claimed to be an angel, but you meet Trevor, you'll swear I am one."
Or on Claude from GTA3. That guy makes trevor look like a saint. As claude takes whatever job and has no sympathy for anybody

Albert is the perfect case study for nurture vs nature. Despite everything he was conditioned to be, he could've went down a different path if he really wanted to, but I think he had inate characteristics, such as being ruthlessly ambitious that kept him from doing so.

If you mean he would have been fine working as a CEO having weekend BBQ's, I think he would see a problem with this. Albert Wesker WANTED IT ALL!! This man didn't want to just be a part of the world, this man wanted WORLD DOMINATION!! And he was damn close to getting it with a number of successful accomplishments and wins over the franchise. I'd say his personality and traits suited him fine. And had he not had the final encounter with Spencer that pushed him over the edge mentally, he probably would have found another way to get what he wanted and succeeded. It was too much for his ego to handle that he had been manipulated his whole life. That's what really did him in. @@iBloodxHunter
As a Resident Evil fan, I absolutely love that Wesker got to be featured on this channel. He's not only the best villain in the Resident Evil series, but also one of the best villains in video game history. 10 out of 10. I will say, I wouldn't mind a video talking about Wesker from the movies, but also a video on William Birkin and Ada Wong.
I think what makes wesker so unique is that he feels like a Human Computor:
He's calm and Collected even when facing dangers, Quickly Analyse the Surroundings around him and even when his plan Doesn't work out his way, he Quickly adapts and make the best of the Situation. His voice actors craig burnatowski and D.C. douglas perfectly bring this aspect of wesker with his monotone and stoic voice, which is more like how a Computor whould talk.
I wondered looking at Albert and his sister Alex if they were just always going to end up bad or if everything umbrella touched just couldnt stay sane. The human mind can only take so much

Hey, I know this is already 5 days old but I'm also a fan of Wesker and well you're voice is just amazing. I've just now looked into your videos and you're truly good at copying Douglas's voice while giving it your own touch. Also their's a bit of Richard Waugh who I always liked a bit more. Given that Douglas turned out to be quite the scumbag and the new Resi 4 Remake voice just frankly lacks the touch in my opinion , I really wish you that you will be Wesker's voice actor once. You deserve it since your just such a great fan. I just discovered you but you have my sub. Stay how you are with that amazing content. We will make it one time. He's also in the game Dead by Daylight. I don't think the lore is any different from RE, but it's a good source for cool/funny Wesker footage (ex: throwing one survivor into another survivor, getting his sunglasses punched off during his mori, Chris-specific voice lines, etc)
Honestly the games does whisker way more justice on developing him as a Villain, since the movies from what I remember never really developed him or even introduced him as a member of stars.🐱

I've been waiting for this video for a long time.
I really love Wesker's type of villain: callous, intelligent, malicious, with a badass demeanor. They are always plotting, scheming and efficient towards their nefarious goals, and they really hype you up while you wait for their next move and for their next plan to be set in motion.

Wesker is one of the best Resident Evil villains ever mainly because he’s a mastermind, a badass and Neyo from the Matrix
What’s also interesting is that he rarely ever loses his temper. The only times he does this is in Resident Evil 5.

Wesker’s ambitions were far more sinister and deadly than any zombie or mutant outbreaks throughout the video games. Had he succeeded; those isolated incidents would’ve paled in comparison to the global chaos that could’ve been!

You left out the fact that he was in a romantic relationship with an Edonian woman from 1990-1992 during his time as a US Army Officer. The woman became pregnant with his child, but she never told him and they broke up. His son, Jake Muller, was raised never knowing who is father was, and Wesker never knew he had a child. This is actually an extremely important aspect of his character as it ties in with the existential crisis he admits to having in The Wesker Report, and his curiosity as to how Birkin was able to live in two worlds (the world of Umbrella and a normal life with a wife). The two year romantic relationship he had with a civilian woman shows that he had an interest in “normal experiences” and that he had more than enough opportunities to change his life, but he put his ultimate goals above everything else. It’s a deeper look into his psyche.

@@rustyshackelford4224 It’s an incredibly interesting story and really shows that he had “human” moments and feelings once in his life, but inevitably believed he had to kill them off inside himself. There’s lore in RE6 that reveals his ex never stopped loving him, but knew they couldn’t be together.

Albert Wesker is my FAVOURITE fictional character and has been since like, 2004 when I was 8. Vile Eye, you did a fantastic job with this video! I thoroughly enjoyed watching through it and exploring new trains of thought with an old favourite! Thank you for finally covering him!
