I'll never forget playing 'The Hive' and getting the SMG...then accidentally giving it to the George NPC...before I could get it back, he went into the elevator. After searching through hell for several floors I find him with a broken broomstick...eventually found the SMG in a closet...with a full clip...he'd swapped the SMG...for a broken broom. He then died and became a leech man...
Since that day, I have had a pathological hatred of George Hamilton...
What did you expect? The man is a doctor/surgeon, not a war veteran...

@@grandadmiralzaarin4962 he has his capsule gun as a substitute, he should be fine. And as any doctor, it's their moral code/principle to save lives. So, to see a doctor carrying a heavy military gun is a bit contradictory to their profession...

I actually mained George when I was first learning the game, he's quite useful.
I tend to play as George enough to consider him a main. My group of friends have an inside joke based on a strange quirk his AI pulled off in Wild Things.
Immediately he wanders off from spawn to God knows where. When I entered the next section, he returns, dying, with an empty shotgun and handgun.
To this day, I lose sleep wondering what happened to him in the span of the first 3 minutes of that run.
But that odd moment convinced me I should play as George.
So much for being a lover of outdoors and nature lol...
A good friend of mine was playing Wild Things once as Kevin with Mark and George as companions
He was dying in the place with lions where you're supposed to put the emblems
George was with him and quickly tried to carry him out of there
Then when a lion was running at them
Mark appeared out of nowhere with a shotgun and stopped the lion with a good shot saving him
The stuff that happens in these games sometimes is gold
@@stealthywalker142 I never had much problems with the ai's back when outbreak came out (I never got to play online sadly)
Anyways, I was playing flashback as Yoko, I had the ai's David and Cindy with me and David refused to come with us, so we left him alone and entered the hospital. He was gone for so long I wondered if he got trapped on the other side of the bridge. Anyways as I went through the level the axe man came from around a corner and scared the shiz out of me. He git a good swing in and I was screwed as I tried shooting him away, just when I thought my run was over David came in with the flame thrower and chased him off. After that David stayed next to me and Cindy xD and we won lmao
I remember George's tackle was buffed in outbreak file 2. He was able to charge it further to where if you connect it with a zombie you would actually knock them down on ground.
Maybe it was only nerfed during PVP but buffed vs AI
I enjoyed playing as George. His random “HAi!!” Greeting Was hilarious. I still say it that way to people at work and basketball.
His capsule shooter makes me laugh 'Hey why did you shoot me!...ohhh it's drugs thanks!' lol
I didn’t think he’d be the least popular character. I mean, my main was Alyssa and sometimes Cindy or David, but George was good to have as a partner.
Outbreak is so underrated. I wish they bring it back or remake or someting.
Think about how good a outbrake game would be in this day an age
Even an HD remaster of both games would be great.
No I only want them to work on RE:VERSE
A well made port to pc or modern consoles would be awesome

George Hamilton was my favorite character from the outbreak series. I played with him a lot on line. I was HIM all the time. I hope they remake both games someday
Surprising that George would be the least used character, since Jim's coin and suicide (hyperbolic) ability seem way less useful lol
I mained Dr. Hamilton! He's a soft spoken intellectual and his play style allows for so much flexibility. He's average in most of his stats (health, running speed, infection speed) his tackle is great for knocking down zombies and allowing you to either bypass them or stomp them into the ground without using a weapon, and his ability to make varied medicines for different situations is so nice. Plenty of scenarios don't have poison, so turning otherwise useless Blue Herbs into Recovery Medicine is huge, and vice versa about Green to Antidote in poison heavy scenarios.

I remember he could shoot his team mates with the capsule shooter but I definitely didn't know u could one hit enemies with them if only he could one shot bosses
RE:Outbreak is a underrated game,and Capcom should definitely bring it back as a remake in the near future.

I always bounced between George and David. Every group needs a healer. And if I wanted to be more utility, I'd go David. I do agree that George was slept on back in the day. Everyone always wanted to be Kevin, Alyssa, David, and Cindy or Mark. Glad to see the good doctor get some recognition

Of the men in Outbreak, George was probably the one I played most growing up. Though if I play a guy now, I tend to go for David

Kai, a vid on which characters made it out of Raccoon City during File 1 & 2 would be great. Other than Alyssa Ashcroft being right out mentioned in RE7, I never got to know what actually happened to the others 🤔
As far as I'm aware, they never mentioned any of the other characters after the Outbreak series with the exception of either Cindy or Yoko, but I could be wrong
@@Michka1001 They have a reference to Kevin and the bar from the start of the game in RE3R but they don't specifically say it's Kevin, it's just heavily implied. This would also still be during the Outbreak timeline so they'd be right in the middle of their adventures.
@@DrownInLysergic I'm legit going to replay RE3R now when I get home, good chance I just don't remember it, but I can't believe I missed that! Still fits into the timeline, but doesn't give an explanation of what happened after the events of Raccoon City, like RE7 did when they included a newspaper article in the Baker house by Alyssa
@@Michka1001 The reference is in a cop car. You can hear Kevin on the radio explaining that he's stuck in the bar with a bunch of people and needs backup. Cool little callback that reminds us that they haven't forgot Outbreak, they just don't care about it 😥

You can play it online of you have ps2 emulator on pc , it does have a lot of players .
Was a George main for f1 and f2. In f2, his sp item is useful to keep partners in good health. Which is especially good for someone who only played offline(with ai bots).

His capsule shooter is real useful especially if you have the white pills because it can instantly kill zombies and creatures most of the time.

I hate George and Jim as AIPC, especially in first Outbreak, where we were forced to be paired with one or both of them in Below Freezing Points and The Hive Scenario.
George is only good when paired with Kevin or Cindy.

Definitely played as George Hamilton and the biggest takeaway from him for me is his watch collecting hobby and his good ending specifically, "...and now there is no one left to hear the answer, it will be sealed and buried in the depths of man's memory. In time, this too will be forgotten, such is the legacy of mankind." I've always wondered what he meant by that, inferring Raccoon City could happen again, if mankind doesn't want to regress than why would forgetting be mankind's legacy and not progressing? If Capcom could ever make a mass-appealing game with a character in a world where government would implant a low-energy, past-present-future accumulative information chip into everyone as to not overload them and he main character being forced into gray morality, should people have this info or risk regression. I think Capcom could have a smash hit on their hands!
I mained George when I used to play. There are a few scenarios I don't mainly choose him but most of the time it is him. I love his capsule shooter but usually drop it because I have a bad aim with it.
In the world of Resident Evil, getting a degree in Virology seems to be more common than an Art degree and about as useful with how often the Viruses fail at what they are wanting to do......not turn you into half melted monsters
I loved playing George since he could heal players, and if there was infinite ammo mode one, I would do some really mean troller stun locking other players with his capsule gun.

I was a Kevin main back in the day. I played David probably second most, and I remember using Jim a couple of times but that's about it. I might've played Mark once but never really touched the others.

I actually mained George as his name is basically mine with an GE, so it was flattering having my name being called by resident evil characters.
Always thought george was an umbrella plant. Had this head canon on how he stole yokos memories.

Over time, George has become the character I play with most often. The timer is no longer a problem with him, which allowed me to explore the maps longer (and we must avoid saying it, but with his capsule shooter the character is almost cheated...)

Wait, why are the recovery meds made out of BLUE herbs and the antidotes for poison made out of GREEN herbs? Isn't it the other way around in all other games? Edit: Meaning, green for health, blue for poison, red for enhancement of the previous two.

It was too ahead of its time. Capcom keeps trying different online multi-player options like ReVerse when they'd have a hit remaking Outbreak.

My third most played character in the game he's super strong in game.
I didn't play any vs matches but in story mode I picked Geroge the most I think overall in the games.

charge tackle dont make u invicible, enemy still can hit u, if u dont use weapon, use normal tackle to stun enemy and then use charge tackle, gorge will tackle zombie until they fly away🤣

I have not played outbreak, I just wanna know, how many survivor in the outbreak and who are they?
For me George is my third most used in the game with no.1 being Alyssa, no.2 being David.
Least used in the game I feel is Jim because of his luck mechanic and his play dead feels so situational more than useful where there are better characters who can get around and attack better, also his dialogue is pretty annoying to the point depending on my mood I tend to "accidentally" pretend jim doesn't exist and have ran away from Jim types.
I personally don't like Kevin, yes he's popular but Kevin players tend to have the curse to always die the most even with a team n being safe that it's almost a meme to me.
