how is it that bixby can pull answers for the web and actually make a list, read it out etc but siri cannot? It's been over a decade and siri still behaves like a product in Beta stage
I heard that Siri is due to an update soon. Apple is working on their very own search results and also working with AI, but behind scenes. But yea, at this point and time, Siri is very stupid I will say. never gets my anwser correct unless it's about maps and other related things. but yea google is pretty much the best atm

@@prodesigns5320 for their defense their implementation is usually of higher quality, but as you said 5 years later. However for machine learning i dont see how they could catch up since it relies on data sets and training, both long things to make use of.

Google is always superior to the competition except for in privacy unfortunately. Now since I read the comment out loud at the time of writing and had my phone next to me, I will now be bombarded with ads of Apple lying about their stance on Privacy.

In this video, you helped me understand what most people use google assistant for. I don't use phone assistants to do google searches on a regular basis. I see my assistant as a phone assistant. Google assistant seems to be behind for me when it comes to that stuff. Bixby and Siri are way better for those tasks. But I do use google assistant when I want to google something and have here read out the results to my kids. Stuff that I usually know the answer to but want to prove to my kids that I know what I am talking about. For my personal use. I still end up researching things by entering a google search and scrolling through links if I can find something leading to the answer to my question. The first response is usually useless anyway. I have had really good experience using the Bing app and using voice to text to ask the chat a question. Then withing the Bing app, a cortana like voice will come on and read out the results. This has been the best search tool for me lately. Because it provides a few links and much more detailed results in creative mode. Pretty awesome actually.

I like the fact that this content is useful as it is funny without even trying 😂.
Two things: 1st, ChatGPT is the smartest in the world that we know of, and 2nd, I think the "assistants" are more geared towards assisting you in carrying out everyday phone tasks, like setting up an alarm, reminders and so on.
Googles LAMDA is better than ChatGPT
Bixby is very much under developed by samsung and for the long years, bixby developers and samsung had a huge time (many years infact) to build bixby to a proper competitor against google assistant, but Samsung did not do it. For the high paying customers of s22, s23 ultra phones, Samsung is just publicly shaming them. Bixby can do certain connected home (Internet Of Things tasks) much better than google assistant and bixby does hold a huge potential for Samsung as a company. If their devs are taking notes, thats good for them.

Incredibly disappointing that Siri having 12 years old didn’t get any improvement, it’s like on it’s first days of development, except that now with iOS 17 can read out loud Web articles in Safari, the best feature added in its existence, but I would say that it’s more like a Safari extension integrated with Siri

It's time to update this video. Recently, so many CZcamsr and redditers has trashed Google Assistant to next to nothing but trash. For me, I only use it for turning lights on/off and play music. So far, finger crossed, it's been as good as it was. I'd like to see an in depth review of how it has deteriorated. Thanks.
and this is the reason why AI is taking off, because before "AI" it was so much worse. Google is at least trying, Bixby is on something.... and Siri is pretty much always resorting to "hey let me search that for you".
Honestly siri is best for setting timers, reminders, and getting directions. Anything else I have to open the Google app on my iPhone and search.

I am genuinely excited for google assistant next generation. When google uses google bard with google assistant. Its just next level. Its good that google is taking its sweet time for bard as chatgpt is very unreliable these days with answers and has given me so many wrong answers. Its bearable for chatgpt to make mistakes but not for a company like google.

I asked Siri about the health question and it showed me the NHS of England’s advice, whilst Google showed the same answer as on this video, i.e. a US take. So, maybe, not as clear cut outside the US?

@@IDTR I did ask Siri the eye strain question and it found the answer for me with web results, so no idea why it did not recognise your question? Looking at the answer Siri gave, they mostly matched Google Assistant, they just did not read them out, so I am not sure that is a negative. I have used Siri since it started so ML means it understands me nearly 100% of the time.

@@IDTR gave the web results like in your test. Only two but one of them was what Google copied for their result. I assume that Apple does this intentionally especially knowing that they are in the last stages of developing their own search engine.

yea. but thats the reason for a voice assistant - using it when you cant touch or view ur phone. Any keyboard can use voice input for a google search.
