  • Back in the Arctic winter and heading over to Finland from Sweden for a bit of Vanlife Snow camping. I’m in my Self build campervan conversion. This episode I may crashed / park the Drone at the top of a Tree and need to climb it to rescue it. I crashed it running a foldable E-bike called a Mirider. I also talk kit and what I’ve got with me from a spare Diesel heater to outdoor kit.

      Leave no drone behind! I’m still unsure why it hit the tree, as the shot previously had been weaving around all the trees on “bypass” mode, maybe I accidentally knocked the proximity sensors off on my controller

      I actually quite like the pump noise ( definitely in the very few ) . Mine is mounted in a way. It’s a very dull thud and actually quite hard to hear but I find it reassuring and since I have a afterburner controller which has a very precise thermostat. The pump noise means I can understand what the heating is doing.

    Hello Alex, You always appear to drive everywhere at night, is there a reason for that?

    Can't believe you managed to climb that tree to get the drone back, brave man :D

    • @MispronouncedAdventures
      @MispronouncedAdventures  Před rokem

      Good question, the night driving is because the days are so short. Most of the night driving ( apart from the drive out ) is 3 or 4pm in the afternoon. I’m normally always at a park up by 5pm. I try and spend the day light hours doing things.
      I’ve not decided on if I’m going to head to that Lofoten again this winter. It’s definitely an amazing place for sure.

    • @MispronouncedAdventures
      @MispronouncedAdventures  Před 7 měsíci

      To be fair, I think what happened is I had the controller on the inside of my jacket whilst riding, obstacle avoidance is really good when tracking, but I think I knocked it and knocked off filming tracking and then it just flew into a tree.

    How unsafe is it to drive a UK vehicle on the right when driving on a single track road by yourself without a passenger for your eyes when driving around a blind corner like a mountain or a blind rocky side? as there are miles of these blind spots in Switzerland or especially Norway, or even a cliff top edge , is this is a really dangerous concern? or am i worrying to much?
