Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? Michael Alig spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

I wonder if when Michael got locked up, everything from his perspective froze. Like...does he think of things that happened in the late 90's as if they happened last week? Do you know what I mean? I have a 9 or 10 year period in my life that I could honestly pretend like they didn't happen. I was really messed up and kind of went into hibernation and didn't talk to anyone. But I could run into friends that I haven't talked to for almost a decade and would approach them as if I had just been with them yesterday. Does anyone know what I mean? Michael talks about the past as if it is still current or what is going on today. I understand they were monumental events to him..but I"m just wondering if time frozen for him.

Yep ! I can sure relate. The 90's for me was one huge party and a total blur. That whole period was like time stood still whilst slowly killing my brain cells.😊😊😊
I,be been in the time warp like that since 2007.i,m use to it even if other,s aren,,t.it is a lonely place but since I can not articulate it to anyone else ,a lot of people left and felt hurt.a lot of loved ones died since that year as well.very lonely place,I hope you can leave it behind you forever.

I lived in Germany when I was little and my family still live there. My mom was born there and I can tell you it definitely is a GERMAN thing to reward kids with candies and chocolate!! And German chocolate is the best in the WORLD!! 😊💕😘👍 my mom tries to reward my girls all the time with German candies and chocolate and they love every minute of it! Recent arrest?? I know I'm coming into this seven months after being posted, but when was he arrested again, & what for?
He was arrested for having a bag of drugs on him and for having a laptop he couldn't unlock. He "say's" the PC was his... but his junkie friend had just changed all the passwords. He also said he was returning all the drugs to the drug dealers house (what, for a full refund?) b/c he didn't want his friend (who is living in his house w/him) doing drugs. Yeah.... sure. Can't you young guys/gals see Michael is reverting? My thinking is Ernie stays around just to keep Michael from going over the edge again... as he's given to do... cuz everyone just loooooves the spectacle.
