He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. I too am a former addict and he is using classic lies. It wasn't mine, I was helping someone, I was giving it back or I didn't want it anymore, and so on. Sadly Michael will never be able to shake that life. Once an addict always an addict.

I agree!!!!!!!!100% you can take clean pee test SO SO EASY! I Did it EVERY MONTH when I saw a "pain specialist" I was also doing other drugs illigally. Any idiot can pass for most things. Except I'm not an addict anymore. I have Lupus and other health issues and it started with Roxy then moved to .morphine and then at the end I was shooting oxymorphone (opana) 10 mg with 8 mg of Dilaudid a few bags of Heroin and was still in pain it made it SO MUCH WORSE my body craved it or I got sick. And anyone who has done drugs knows it does not take long to build a tolerance so I took enough to kill a horse literally. When I had surgery they had me on 3mgs of Dilaudid and 150 of demerol and phenergan. I through up constantly!!!! Anyway I was in a pit and wanted to die. But truly I am NOT exaggerating I went from wanting to die and cried out for GOD and he straight up delivered me from heroin and opiates in 2 months of suboxone. They told me to take 3 (8) mg strips a day! I took one strip split it 3 ways and took 1/3 three times a day. Then after a week 2x a day. And so on. And that was it. No withdrawals never had another craving for it. Its been almost 4 years. I take CBD for pain and vitamins. Its amazing!

You know someones an addict when their explanation begins with, I was on my way to a drug dealers house. And that's the only part of their very long story that makes any possible sense.

Despite how unique and fun the “club kids” were or at least seemed to be, this is a great display of how depressing things inevitably turn out for people like this. He’s a narcissist obviously, a very bad character, but worst of all he’s still clinging to a life and time that is so far gone and watching him scrambling around lying and using, it’s incredibly depressing to even conceive this guy’s life. I came here after watching Glory Days and finding out he died of an overdose, and damn I’d take my life over his any day. This guy had a crap life, no matter how euphoric that 5 or 6 year period was.
Out of all his pain he created an amazing scene, but the pain consumed him.

I think the Club Kids would’ve gone down in history as icons if Michael didn’t taint this era with his crime.
And yet this shot still fascinates me. Kind of like Syd Vicious and Nancy Spongen. They probably weren’t happy but the blew it all out in just a couple years, then gone. They couldn’t even look back at it all.

Doing the type of drugs Michael did, is bad enough in one's 20's, let alone in one's 50's, let's also not forget the game has changed completely as they put fentanyl in everything!.. RIP

As an addict and someone who has been in trouble with the law, I don't think you should have gone into such detail in your story. The DA can use it against you. Plus, to us addicts, we can see right through your story and know that isn't really what happened. You guys should definitely delete this video. I'm a fan, I'm on your side Michael, but (as the old saying goes) you can't BS a BSer.
Now you are stuck with this story because if you deviate from it, the court will use you it against you and claim you are lying. So I hope this is the story you are going to stick with for the entirety of the case..... Hang in there and keep your head up. Get a good lawyer, lay low and try to stay sober.... Be safe out there.

I think this is where I first started to really think things are going south. I think there is a pretty solid pattern that's hard to ignore.

it seems to me that he uses a certain drug because of his body movements and how fast he talks which would be called meth...and im pretty sure without a doubt he is using by his actions also its easy to get around the drug tests.

Someone like you should learn how to deal with police encounters. You say "I do not consent to a search. Am I free to go?" Unless they have probable cause to believe you have committed a crime, they must let you walk away. Don't chat, don't explain. Just keep repeating "I do not consent to a search. Am I free to go?". Just keep walking.
As a former addict and struggling one at that, I understand your actions and logic Michael.. Winding up in those old familiar people, places and ideas, either revisiting them mentally or physically.. Its how the addict mind works .Even if your clean, you're never fully free of the monkey. We have to walk a more logical and straighter line, especislly with a record. But you have to put yourself first in this world! You can help your friend in other ways. Get creative. That's what you do best.
