Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? Michael Alig spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

I just subscribed. I have been watching since day 2. Ernie is a saint & it is hoped that Michael is aware of that and grateful to have such a caring friend. Good luck to Ernie & Michael. Scotto was a good guest. Also, Michael, maybe consider giving away a signed lithograph or some sort of prize for every tier of followers you guys gain on youtube, to boost subscriptions, perhaps? Maybe a prize raffle amongst subscribers for every 5,000 subscriptions or something, just a suggestion. Take care everyone!

Merrida100 really watch old movies of Ernie at the clubs he is actually the younger acting of the two, Michael was different when it was his party, he was a dick, serious side, he was mean hateful and barred many from his parties, he had strict standards for the photo ops. Had to keep up appearances, there is actually scene in movie where he doesn't let angel into the party and is insulting him about the way he is dressed tells him to come again some other time and slams the door in his face, this was kind of a norm for him you had to look the part and the way you acted wasn't as important sometimes, you know you had to fit the meme

M. Culkin wasn't horrible, but the writing was putrid. Its so disturbing how in almost every episode there is some reference to child abuse aka molesting kids, fucking kids etc. Hedonistic perverse, and extremely unsettling.
Dr Time I agree but to actually tell the story, it's true they were all kids some even younger, it's been written about and talk shows have been done on the subject, listen to Michael talking about Scotto and James fighting over a fourteen year old, they were all kids barely old enough to drink. So of course the movie highlights it, it was all about sexual freedom to be and act as you please, to allow the world to see you as you see yourself and not be afraid to be different, and smashing it in the face of everyone else
Club kid scene was amazing and there will never be another time, Dr Time, when this will happen

I myself miss the club kid scene you do see some around but not like it used to be. Huge groups would get together every one with there own unique funky style. Meeting up to catch a shuttle or bus... to head to an unknown location for amazing parties . And when that wasn't happening or clubs worth going to house parties were cool just chilling out spinning records. God forbid I went anywhere now dressed and looking funky...

Michael - why not design some installation when you get a gallery to do an exhibition of your work. It would be great to at least get one room where you can create something new to add to people enjoying your art!

Scotto was on tour in Brazil with Altern8 and Moby in 1992; it was the first time Jaydee's Plastic Dreams was played in the Country. Indeed Scotto showed us all how to have a better party.Besides teaching the local folk what KICK-ASS lighting is, Scotto was one of the the nicest professionals I have worked with. Great performer and all around nice guy with ZERO attitude. That is what being CHIC is all about.Now after reading this, go get yourself some NASA gear and FLAUNT some CLASS yourself!
