Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? Michael Alig spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

Ernie and Michael- I have been a loyal member of many different satellite radio, pod casts and other new media platforms. All but one have I abandoned because of the fact they went with a HUGE media company and told us the fans it would be better for everyone. Sadly all 9 are gone but one have survived. And the one that did survive. was dumbed down to a early morning show that I record and I listen to only when I can (hence I skip shows). Yall are good! I'm not saying not to go with a big company that can help your viewership grow but just know, we the loyal Pe-weers care about the Pe-eew . I will follow you wherever but I just don't want you to fall into the glamor of compaies who will compromise you. You are are good, and can operate in NYC. Don't give in. They came to YOU. remember that. They need you as much as you need them.
FYI I stopped ur show at 4:01 to tell you this as I feel strongly about what you both were asking. Im not a media know it all, but I have see the rise and fall of really good shows and I do not want to see this show disappear.

Yes. I think you should. More viewers and more marketing opportunities. You wouldn't be lost in the crowd, you would be the premier. If anything you would probably learn some great tips from fellow wow people. If it all falls apart, you can always come back to what your doing. Nothing can stop you from being you.

DONT DO IT! WOW has some good stuff but dont want you to get lost amongst a crowd of polished turds (too many talentless ex-drag racers!). And besides, havent they made enough money out of Micheal?Im sure you can sort your production problems out in NYC or amongst your fans!? (just like the old day but with benefit of the internet).
eh, wow will get you more exposure, but the fact that they aren't willing to help with the production of the show, plus you having to pay them doesn't seem worth it to me.
I would really advise against joining their network. I have done my research and basically all they do is post an intro video you have to make on their channel and that's about it. They don't do any work. I've looked at all the people who have joined their network and they really didn't get any subscribers at all. So I really don't see why you guys should put in all the work and they get part of your earnings. What happens when you guys make a video that goes viral or you get a huge jump in viewers from a video you made? They get part of that money when you can just go to google and use their studio. Wow is in california, there is no point in joining. It would be a mistake and to be honest wow hasn't supported Michael at all since he has been out so why should he join their network?

When you guys get 5k subscribers you get access to a Google studio. Is this going to get you where you want to be with the production value?
No. World of Wonder isnt offering production, only a chance to be on their network.
Michael Alig .....We met years ago at a club party or at Nelson’s... I don’t remember. Anyway... if you ever make it back out to “Hollyweird” or Los Angeles, would love to hang out and shoot the shit!!! I’ll buy you a drink or a coffee or whatever....

CZcams networks are totally a scam. Don't do it - just enable monetization on your videos under your settings.
If you want better production, I'm sure there are a ton of film schools in New York who would do it for free just to get experience! Or hire a recent grad who would be inexpensive. If you don't want to go that road, you could shop around local production studios for estimates - that way you will pay them but still not need to pay. Network on top of that.

So long as CZcams doesn't censor you and muffle you all is good 😊BUT I,m just learning how to use a tablet,completely computer illiterate ,and I,d learn to follow you anywhere if you must move.i agree with everyone who replied with " don,t sell out " only I would tell you the same thing I have yelled about to my kids down to great grandkids,,,NEVER,,,,EVER undersell your selves to any one in any form be it anything from being an artist to being a food server to being a CEO ,,,,,you get it!If there is not a element of FUN in any activity , there is something WRONG and change stop or change it.......p.s. I never learned to use computer because I have an addictive personality,I was right as here I sit in a glorious mess of unfinished projects because this tablet is fun . If anything is great ,more is fun,,l think some of us are born this way , so in spite of struggling with self discipline life is really,really FUN.ohhh all will be well.........the ❤️ love is real!

Firstly, there should be a way for you to work something out with WOW. I think you might be able to get some kind of upgrade in terms of studio and production though you're already doing a great job! I loved John Sex....I couldn't count how many parties I went to with him performing and being THE STAR.....and yes, I remember his friendliness as well!! He was a genuinely sweet guy!! As for brunch, I would really like to be there when you get around to doing it.

WOW is a good hub of activity and has the potential to reach more people. I used to watch James St. James Transformations, but now I watch The Pee-ew instead. I prefer the lack of structure and low production value of The Pee-ew. WOW was better before it became the place where all Rupaul Drag Race contestants go to fade away. I mean, some of them are entertaining, but they really cluttered up the WOW youtube page and a majority of the stuff on there is...boring...yes, Ernie, more boring than The Pee-Ew. The only things I can handle on WOW anymore are the Bianca Del Rio bits, Alyssa's Secret and I occasionally catch up on Transformations. 2 of those star ex-drag race contestants. They should change the title from WOW to What Rupaul Gave Us To Make Money Off Of.
I'd not go with World of Wonder if that's their terms.
I'm not sure what you're looking to do guys but I'd start with getting a better camera.
You could do a fan funded sort of thing and get money that way to buy the production items you need.
In this day and age you don't need some big producer backing you.
I say hold off on WoW for at least a year. If they want the New York flair they should have to work for it and establish some worker bees in the area. You can't lay your eggs without building a nest.

I think if you want to have your youtube channel taken more seriously you would really benefit from at least getting a better quality camera, and then also from editing your videos to contain just the important bits and leave out the pauses. good luck
