- Sarah from Obadiah's shows us the Elmira Fireview Cookstove, the only wood and gas combination cookstove in North America! Featuring an elegantly designed face, the Fireview is a perfect example of the classic cookstove look, and even offers a glass viewing door, something no other antique-style cookstoves have. It's also a workhorse when it comes to cooking, with an oven so large that it allows for three full pans stacked two rows deep. In this video, Sarah goes over the various features and demonstrates the basics behind this cooker, brought to you by the trusted makers of the Sweetheart and the Oval cookstoves.

Great video Sarah!!!! WOW!!!! I am so impressed with that stove. It has been on the market for a long time. Now I know why. It is a true performer. Thank you to my Canadian Family. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Stove is a classic beauty, as is Sarah!
Oops typo, Elaborating, in my sincere meaning well done video, which was specific and to the point... Best input I received is the center location of top mount smoke pipe on 36 inch stoves. Thanks.
Great video 👍🏽
Very informative video, off-the cuff aberration
I've been cooking for almost all of my 62 years and I've never used both racks in an oven yet. And you wouldn't need to raise this oven's rack because the heat source isn't at the top or bottom of the oven but is at the side.
It's too bad the gas doesn't also work in the oven. I was considering buying it to avoid having to buy a separate gas stove for my "summer" kitchen....but I do way too much baking for the gas not to work in the oven, too.
I didn't hear you explain that the side vents are for adjusting the oven's temperature. And of course I couldn't do better than you, I'm just back-seat drivin'. :)
I think you were in correct on side controls. All the way back is open towards front of stove is closed.
Question: It appears that the oven works with only wood? Does anyone know of a gas/wood oven combo stove?
How much

просто класс . молодец.
What is the height of the flue from the floor I didn't see that in the specs
Hi Charles, the height of the flue collar is same as the cook top, which is 35.5" from the floor.
How to use the gas side im new and looking to buy this
Hello, the gas side burner is an automatic ignition. Similar to any standard gas stove. The baking oven however, is only fired by wood fuel. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
@@ObadiahsWoodstovesTroy okay thank you so much for that clarification I will be starting a small Homestead soon and this is my first time ever doing something like this so thank you for the information
Are there wood stoves that have gas pilots lighting systems?
There are no wood stoves available in North America that offer this option as they have been outlawed by EPA.
How much is the wood n gas cooker???
Current price is $5,495 plus delivery. The product can be viewed on our website here: woodstoves.net/cookstoves/fireview-wood-cookstove.htm
@@sarahchain6394 I'd love to see your wedding announcements if you could find a fiancé named Ball.
Im thinking of buying Elmira Fireview 1842-g stove because of the duel fuel option which I think will be useful during the summer. My friends swear by the Heco stove.
I'm interested in having the gravity fed domestic hot water system hooked up as well.
Both stoves have the waterjacket option. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with these stoves that could offer some advice. Is there any pros and cons between them? is one better the other in some areas? does one work better for heating water than other?
