Turbo 3V sounds are better then any other motor or exhaust. I love supercharger whine but the turbo setup on these motors is something else!

Do you by any chance have any pictures of how u did the lower radiator hose? Mines an 06 and I’m trying to figure out how to connect the new style lower hose to the hose that comes from back of the motor???? Thanks I’m advance
I don't but I used a tee joint and other random hoses to get it to work. It was a pain.

It has been pretty good so far, the turbo is pretty crappy so I already replaced it once. I had about 4500 in it to get it up and running with tune.

Biside turbo instalation... Engine is stock? I want to do a single turbo kit, but I in not really sure about having to build the whole engine, that's a lot of money and time
Engine is all stock, get a good tune and stick to 450whp/wtq and you should be fine

It's been about 9 months but only about 2000 miles. And I used the on3 kit. I've got the full install here on my channel.

I have the exhaust coming out up front so you can really hear turbo spool
Keep in mind that 450 rwtrq applied to supercharged engines. Becouse sc have 12-14% parasitic loss, 450 - 9.5 lbs with sc. With turbo same level of boost you should be able to handle 500 no problem and with meth 550 ezz.
what is your avg mpg now after the on3 turbo install?
All depends how you drive but normally around 14mpg
Hey kordare, how much did you spend on the turbo kit and on installation.
All parts and tuning to get up and running was right around 4 grand. I did all the install myself.

Thanks! And yea I do still have it and its holding up fine. I do normally run only 7 psi which is probably closer to 450whp.

Hey man what’s a good boost level to run the stang like safe safe? Is it 8psi and how much whp would that be? I’m gonna pull the trigger and get it but I just don’t want to blow the engine so what’s the best psi to stay reliable?
Really what matters is torque. To be safe stay under 450 wtq which will be around 7psi

What rpm is full spool? And how long is your turbo lag between shifts?
Full boost is around 3500 and honestly I dont notice much lag at all between shifts if youre really going WOT.

Thanks a lot! Car is holding up great, still stock internals and trans with stock clutch even. I'll probably replace the clutch soon but it still hasn't slipped at all.

It's a lot of work but I'd say its definitely worth it. All depends what you want. I had about 4500 in it to get it up and running.

Yup I normally only run 7 psi. It made 512 on 10

@@MyNameStanc0l hey most of it is just the on3 turbo kit with the standard parts they offer with the kit. Turbo vs. Supercharger is a big debate and depends what you like, I personally like the power surge and sounds from turbos.

Its an on3 70mm journal bearing. I do NOT recommend anything from on3.
@@Kordare so where did u bought the piping and the rest of the stuff from?? And how much did it cost to turbo charge it?
@@manuelcastillo7522 I did buy the on3 kit but had to do a good bit of modifying to make it work. I wouldn't suggest that kit unless you are a decent fabricator. I had about $4000 in getting it up and running with the turbo.

@@hellostranger2269 I removed most of the low hanging tubes as a byproduct of doing the front bumper exhaust so their is only one low hanging tube left but I haven't scraped it many times
