That's because if you haven't noticed yet that the 5.0 coyote is the most overrated ford ever made. nobody needs one, everyone always envies one. feh. there's other stuff out there to buy. personally I won't dump money on one. got other ideas for cars in the future that are a lot more practical and comfortable to drive.

@@wiselinkmarque3947 How is a Coyote overrated? It's a solid engine that works. High rev engine with high HP capabilities NA or with boost, without needing to pull it apart. I bet you hate LS based engines too.
@@SpencerReidBuchanan Overrated shit that doesn't deserve me splurging my bank account on like a moron. I have other things that I will spend my money on. I think Ford got enough of it, especially after that episode with their homosexual car salesman "Stuart" at the Ford dealer in Santa Clara. Thank you very much. At least the Nissan dealer doesn't do underhanded shit to me like that.

Whitee Rice there’s also those portal hydraulic lifts, you just roll ur car over and the rails lift ur ride up like maybe 3 feet or so. It’s def not a full on lift but it’s a budget option and def better than lying on floor lol

@@Funbgs2 hahah. I think I have around 12k in it including car purchase. It helps when you buy it wrecked. This video was over a couple months. The turbo install was about 2 weeks of working on it every day.
That’s awesome I’m In the middle of a project now I’ve got a 87 foxbody that was 2.3 that I’m swapping a 5.0 in. I should’ve bought the gt fox but I’m working with what I have. Long story short it’s at a stand still and the whole car is getting redone. Big props to the turbo system, especially piecing it together. It takes a lot more than people think, boost control, injectors, maybe a stand-alone ECU and a oil system that has to be made from scratch if u don’t have to the money for a on3 turbo kit or a cx racing turbo kit. I love getting tips from builders like yourself vs the forums because you’ve done it and it works regardless of problems
That's awesome, good luck with the build! Just take every step as a learning opportunity and go in with confidence. A lot of the things I've done on this car I'd never done before.

@@Kordare the same reason why I am looking for a s197 now - I need a ride for a summer time, hemi will stay for a winter. I want 4,6 with manual, this is not a smart choice because of petrol prices here in Poland but screw this, life is too short to drive boring cars :)

Makes me excited for mine to get finished. I've got an 03 mustang with built trans and bottom end since I'm looking to daily drive it. ~550whp is what I'm aiming for, a nice round number to behave on the street, and Cobras have gone 100k miles with those numbers. Of course it can always be turned up if I need to put somebody in their place really quick ;)

I'd rather hear a stock V8 than a built 6 ! Nothing like the sound of a V8 built or not !! No replacement for displacement !!
People need to give the 3v’s more respect man. So many people think they’re terrible mustangs because they aren’t as fast as the coyote stock. But the 3v motor itself is a great platform and can obviously handle some boost with stock internals and make good power. They’re great entry level muscle cars and you can get them for super cheap these days and have 300hp stock and a great platform to build from.

Kordare exactly. I love the coyote motor, it’s strong and sounds awesome but they’re also a lot more expensive than the 3v

Love the build and am to quite sick of seeing LS this LS. So this was nice and refreshing. That exhaust tho facing upwards like that cut it and angle it to come straight out.

It is nice to have such a popular model, huge selection of aftermarket parts.
I have to admit..though my criticism isn’t requested, I hate seeing a turbo kit installed using those restrictive stock exhaust manifolds. I think that’s the first mod on anything. Whether it’s long tubes or turbo headers, manifolds are a travishamockery. I did appreciate your ability to fabricate and definitely enjoyed the video.
Yup totally understand where you're coming from. I wanna build some forward facing manifolds eventually so I didnt bother to change them.

About how much was the whole build?
From stock to tuned with turbo was about 4500, total invested including car purchase is prolly around 12k.

Hey, I think you installed the rear lowering springs upside down. I did the same thing when I was lowering my Mustang and had to switch it. The tightly coiled side should be on top.

@@matthewpate154 oh no it's fine, sitting in my garage. By doing the new setup I could get rid of two of the low hanging pipes that came with the turbo kit. I explain it in the video where I build that front exit exhaust.
