Until he deals with that root cause, he'll always be this way. And opposition fans know he's easy to trigger, which is why they do racist chants towards him. I feel for the guy because no amount of money or success can heal that pain he's holding. At some point though, you've gotta dive into it and let it go, otherwise the cycles just keep repeating.

Without question this player was the greatest natural talent since Ronaldinho. If you look at the level of competition he performed against with very little support or mental drive he is beyond either Ronaldo or Messi what he did at their age. Ronaldo never once beat a decent premier league defender one on one ,Messi took 7 tries to score against Chelsea and left World cup south Africa with NO GOALS to his credit with one of the most potent attacking teams in the tournaments history that year. So Mario basically won Man City their first title when all the other big players failed. Man city at home against a team that was not only the lowest scoring away team that season ,but were already relegated to the division below. Man City was losing that game against QPR until Mario got the ball held off his defender and put the winning goal on plate for Aguero. He also knocked Germany out of the Euro's with a very impotent supporting cast of italian teammates. His lynching by the Italian and British media was criminal quite frankly . He was an odd ball for sure but he never hurt anyone ,but we see degenerates like Joey Barton rewarded with chance after chance. If Balotelli did one of the things Barton had done he would be banned for life. An absolute disgrace how that boy was treated.

I think had Mario been a little older and playing in the mid-late 90’s that Ferguson would’ve took him to Utd and been the perfect fit as manager. Mario needed bespoke man-management, sadly he never reached his full potential due to being allowed to fly off the rails, despite showing glimpses of excellence. He had that Cantona essence about him for sure.
