Agree 100% that the story of Jeremy is more emotionally resonant than anything else in the season. The line, "Even though you live here, you never really left that fog" just hits so hard.
I adore this season. Exploring complex emotional problems while introducing the most stuff about the lore. So mad Book 6 showing events of Book 4 from Emelia’s perspective didn’t get made cuz “Emilia isn’t a relatable character for kids”… We were robbed.

And here we end Infinity Train. According to the Infinity Train wiki, book 5 would have been Amelia's takeover of the train. Book 6 would have probably had a new character and would've been during the 2000s.

Rumor was that the next chapter, either Book 5 or a movie, Owen Dennis wanted the main protagonist to be Amelia, but the studio didn't think kids would watch a show about a sixty year old woman.
I'm happy to see you made it to the end of this series. It was a joyful ride (no pun intended) to see unfold! Although this season was fairly the weakest out of all of them, it was still nice to see Min-Gi and Ryan's journey on the train. The song "Train to Nowhere" is very sweet and a nice tune to end everything on, and even if the show didn't get its full story told it at least ended on a high note (again not a pun!)
Wholesome ending
I kinda wish Jeremy's story had been mostly told in a couple of flashbacks alongside the main story. But yeah, that ending is very heartwarming
I was very surprised when you quoted that "everything is a 9-10 and book 4 is a 7" thing I commented at some point btw lol
And yeah, we were so robbed. Some bits of pre-storyboard drawings for book 5 surfaced at some point and it looked incredible. There's also a single piece of concept art for a character for Book 6 and this fandom is so STARVED for content that I've seen more than twenty fanarts based on that character from a season that doesn't exist. I love it

I love these videos
This season was my least fave but I still enjoyed. I liked Kez, Ryan, and Min's arcs, but felt like the conflict was pretty repetitive and the mob did not grab me like Amelia, Simon, or the Flecs. But after Lake and the Apex, i did like the more grounded story of them trying to figure out what they want and their relationship. Plus I like how being a prequel the background plot with Amelia sets up the plots for the first 3 books.
