Ice King was whistling "Daddy, why did you eat my fries."
He seems to have an interesting fixation on this song, which I think implies that he - on some subconscious level - is always thinking about his decision to leave Marceline with Hunson Abadeer.
Finn's trainwreck of a love life is one of my favorite aspects of the show. It's so great seeing a character learn to be happy with thenselves instead of finding their perfect match. And the final relationship just being a very casual thing with a kindred spirit was a fantastic choice

I don't know if people thought Finn was bad for forgetting but I honestly don't think he is. He thought it was a dream and you usually forget dreams. Plus he did live out the rest of his life with his pillow family
I've never heard anyone criticize Finn for forgetting, not like he had a choice
here are some personal episode picks of mine (I’ve avoided including spoilers in these descriptions);
Jack The Brick - I see this as a nice comfort episode despite it definitely making you think, and it proves episodes of shows can still be good even if they don’t drive the main plot
Music Hole - It took me until seeing a review of this episode to fall in love with it, music truly is a universal language
Simon And Marcy - Obvious pick, it’s just always equally wholesome and sad to see these two interact
Puhoy is a great introspective ep.
Finn always has a prosthetic arm because he loves it and because one of his past lives had a missing arm
Finn has definitely had the most character development throughout this entire series. He started out as happy go lucky and still is but became more down to Earth and philosophical starting at the beginning of season 6. He's for certain more mature than Jake and even stronger than him and many others in terms of physical strength
So I would say that between Stakes and Islands you could do 2 videos.
The first Id recommend Crossover, Hall of Egress and Flute Spell. This is a fan favorite run of episodes and surely would be great to have your reactions for.
For the 2nd video id say do the 4 episode run of Preboot, Reboot, Two Swords, and Do No Harm. This grouping is two back to back 2-parters, which were actually respectively the original finale for s7 and intro for s8 (CN Reshuffled the seasons after these aired). These I feel are probably the most important episodes for setting up some of the biggest plot points in the rest of the show and are also really great episodes to get your reactions for.
It was sweet for Finn to meet another human who is a 1000 years old. He's the one that built the fire giants in Phoebe's kingdom
I would recommend Varmints and Egress since those are some of my favorite episodes
Just a reminder that A-Mo murdered that enitre Mo civilization and crushed them into a sentient cube

@@noremac7216 I think from what he was saying is that he’s only really seen up to somewhere around s6, and that stuff past that, like the miniseries, he hasn’t seen.

Ice King is so tragic 😭and Marceline in this episode 😭😭😭 and yes, her songs are so good. This episode is just such a punch in the gut the whole way through, I love it so much.
The Simon/Ice King and Marceline plots may be my favorite part of the show.

For the longest time, I never understood what it was that Finn did that was bad towards Phoebe. I understand it now. It took me a while though

5 episodes i personally can recommend
Season 4 episode 14 "Card wars" - Best of the best. Very realistic depiction of board games
Season 4 episode 17 "BMO noire" - A lot of fun. Absurd in a best way
Season 6 episode 20 "Jake the brick" - a very chill episode. A very deep story about nothing in particular
Season 7 episode 20 "Bad Jubies" - the best "alternative art style" episode. Very cute
Season 7 episode 24 "the hall of egress" - intriguing, mysterious. A lot of twists
It wasn't shortly after that Finn messed things up with Phoebe but yes it is within this season
Have you watched all of Adventure Time, Fionna and Cake, and Distant Lands?
I have not but they are coming! Stakes, Islands, and Elements will be watched on the channel followed by both Distant Lands and Fionna and Cake, so lots more to come!
