    I have had coolant loss off and on for a while. I did the whole EGR clean thing, compression checked the cylinders which were fine (130psi all) and still no sign of leakage. Gonna try this now. Thanks for showing me where it is.

      Can i just ask if changing thermostat helped with coolant water loss? As i am going through the same problem.

      @@muhammadsaghir5907 removing the rubber o-ring on the coolant reservoir cap was the only thing that worked for me. Have had no problem since.

    Thanks! Video poster shall watch Chris' post to know how to do it correct. May I recommend: 1.Use horizontal view as most computer do; 2.recording at the time you work not after 3.give torque spec, parts and tools link. A question: can we just replace the internal real thermostat core not the shell?

      @hanitwfik  Před rokem

      Thanks for the recommendation I will taking care of it . And yes you can replace the internal only if you can get the part

    hello did you need to replace the gasket seal for the thermostat? the thermostat I bought looks exactly like yours but it didn’t come with a gasket seal. my mechanic is telling me we need a seal

    • @hanitwfik
      @hanitwfik  Před rokem

      Of course you have to replace it because now or later it will start to leak again even if it's good now

    If I change the pump do I need to change this at the same time or is it not necessary?

    hi bro, my car CT200H is not demisting and keeps over heating.
    I changed the water pump as it initially failed but my mechanic/friend couldn't remove one of the nuts (far end) for thermostat so just put new water pump on old thermostat. I have now told him to change the thermostat now too.
    Anyway is it a bad thermostat that is causing car not to demist and overheat? Also do you have to go under the car as well to remove the thermostat?

    • @hanitwfik
      @hanitwfik  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes thermostat can cause the car to overheating and you don't have to go under the car to Replace it

      @@hanitwfik Thank you so much for your quick reply really appreciate the video too.
      Do you know what tool we can use to get to that third nut in the far corner of the three nuts used to bolt the thermostat? We are really struggling to get the hand in to turn it?
