priceless video that actually included re-assembly! However, in the event you don't have an extra long 14mm wrench to hold back the tensioner from the top (my situation), remove the front passenger side tire, then remove the mud guard on right side of fender well (2 screws), access the tensioner from this position with 14mm wrench, push wrench toward front of vehicle to release tension and slide the belt off the AC compressor (left side of fender well). Follow the remaining instructions in the OP's video to remove and install the thermostat and idler. Then put the belt back on AC compressor from the fender well using tensioner method. Takes a little muscle but it beat he hell out of trying to work from the top with an 8" wrench. Great post!
Not only you're a skilled mechanic, your filming is superb, thank you.
Thanks 😊

So far, this is the best video I can find on this specific subject on taking the thermostat out.
Thanks bro
Thank you !!! And Go Pates! Hoover class of 85 here.
Thanks for the video... Just FYI: 32ft lbs for the pulley and 7ft lbs for the thermostat housing bolts (says Lexus).
Awesome
Video I did my car but used bungie cords and a magnetic 10mm for the thermostat housing nuts
Like the tricks that you use to keep the tensioner and the bolt in place.
