DIY: make pallet crossbow from leafspring , Rock throwing crossbow from Renaissance, make stone bow

In my previous video I made a mini medieval crossbow and uploaded on this channel. I am glad to see the good result as many people have watched, liked the videos and subscribes to my channel because of it. This time, I would like to make another attempt to produce a stone bow, pallet bow, Rock throwing crossbow from Renaissance. I made the stock from tropical hardwood, the prod from vehicle leafspring. I designed it to shoot marbles. It's quick and easy to load and fire with very good accuracy with the foresight and back sight though i don't designed the prod to be very strong from long range shooting.
this video is just an attempt to copy Renaissance's stonebow or rock throwing crossbow. It's not an attempt to compete with modern slingshots. It's just a love for history and arts though I can't make it as nice as the real one. I intentionally made the prod lightweight for some safety reasons. But with a much heavier draw weight prod, maybe it can be more powerful than most slingshot, but might not be necessary since a lot of modern smaller tools are faster and more affective than those bigger tools from the old times. In Italy the stonebow (Italian called ballottaia) was everywhere between the common people as utility tool to put something to eat in the pot but was also used by the wealthy aristocratic for relaxing small game hauntings.
In meinem vorherigen Video habe ich eine mittelalterliche Mini-Armbrust gemacht und auf diesem Kanal hochgeladen. Ich freue mich über das gute Ergebnis, da viele Leute die Videos gesehen, geliked und deswegen meinen Kanal abonniert haben. Diesmal möchte ich einen weiteren Versuch unternehmen, einen Steinbogen, einen Palettenbogen, eine Steinwurfarmbrust aus der Renaissance herzustellen. Den Schaft habe ich aus tropischem Hartholz gefertigt, den Prod aus Fahrzeugblattfedern. Ich habe es entworfen, um Murmeln zu schießen. Es ist schnell und einfach zu laden und mit sehr guter Genauigkeit mit dem Vor- und Rückvisier zu schießen, obwohl ich den Prod nicht so konstruiert habe, dass er beim Schießen auf große Entfernungen sehr stark ist.
Dieses Video ist nur ein Versuch, die Steinbrust oder die Steinwurfarmbrust von Renaissance zu kopieren. Es ist kein Versuch, mit modernen Schleudern zu konkurrieren. Es ist nur eine Liebe für Geschichte und Kunst, obwohl ich es nicht so schön machen kann wie das echte. Ich habe das Prod aus Sicherheitsgründen absichtlich leicht gemacht. Aber mit einem viel schwereren Zuggewicht kann es vielleicht stärker sein als die meisten Schleudern, aber möglicherweise nicht notwendig, da viele moderne kleinere Werkzeuge schneller und effektiver sind als die größeren Werkzeuge aus alten Zeiten. Very nice work.
I think a modern use of this tool is to plant trees on rugged hill sides.
Birds used to poop the seeds out to grow more trees, but they are depleted.
A conservationist could launch seeds with this, especially palm nuts.
