Did they solve the problem with the main gear case. I saw two guys with the same problem loose main gear case during flight both of them crashed badly.

wasn't a defect.
they weren't using the proper tube adhesive.

Do I need to solder the motor and other electronics?

Just the battery connector to the ESC.
