- I got into #pcflipping last year after seeing lots of people online make money from it... but is it actually profitable? I dove right into it with THREE builds at once (don't recommend) and thought I had lost all of the money that I put into it... until 1 blessed week when I sold all of them. And now I'm addicted.
Join me on this fun, crazy, SCARY adventure of buying different PC parts and flipping them.

When I first saw this pop up I really thought it was from a more famous youtuber BEAUTIFUL work with the video and I hope you can sell more. Seriously looking forward to episode 2.
Dang. That’s incredibly uplifting to read, thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to episode 2 as well, ha!
This was very fun to watch! Your channel is underrated, and I’m glad I could find it in such early stages of life :D
Thanks so much man!!! I really appreciate the kind words!!
Had no idea you made content, and I’m glad to have previewed some of these builds before this video :) for a first flipping video and third video this is very high quality and an interesting/fun watch! I’m glad there’s another active flipper making flipping content in 2024, with good looking builds that have great aesthetics (and don’t compromise on price to performance either).
Razer!!! So cool to see you here. You’ve been a great help to me over the last few months. Thanks for always helping and thanks for the kind words!!

i laughed so much throughout your video, because im living this exact episode right now lmao
Too real 💀
Hey man I’m so glad I found your channel.
I can relate 100% with you, specially on the “convincing my wife” part 😅
I started as well in October almost due to the same reason you did, upgrading my pc, bought some extra stuff in bundle deals, loved the feeling, had leftover parts, started buying some more “to get rid of the unwanted stuff”. Enden up having 5 PCs built but 95% finished each.
Posted the first one en of November. Sold it with only 13€ of profit cause I got impatient (and worried). Then December came, and I sold the other 4 in like 2 weeks for an average profit of 150€. Even built another one before Christmas and sold it as well.
Now I’ve been continuously building and selling like one once every 2 weeks but still love it.
Love to build them, try different components and combinations. The deal hunting, even started trusting myself to buy damaged (but repairable) parts to increase the profits even more.
It is still a hobby cause I can’t invest that much time cause of kids and full time job, but definitely has become much more serious.
I loved listening to your experience and look forward to more of your videos. Already watched the second one as well 😁
Keep it up! ❤❤❤
Dude. You’re literally me. HA!! It really is an insanely addicting hobby. Definitely hard to juggle family time, work, and this, but it’s all good fun. Thank you so much for watching and for the encouragement. I really really appreciate it! Hope to keep you and other entertained with more content!

WOW the great NemusHW himself!! Thank you so much!
Love the story thank you! I just upgraded my PC and my left over 3600 + board + 32gigs of ram is just sitting there so I scoured marketplace and found a 3060 for $150. I purchased it and a case + a m.2 laying around and now I have a beautiful PC. I want to sell it but at the same time I dont because I'm getting attached, and I felt you when you said you dont really want to sell your first build.
Haha dude I feel that all too well!! It was SO hard parting with my first personal rig and even the first flip. It’s funny how it works. But here’s your encouragement to be proud of building a whole other rig and sell it to enjoy the fruits of your labor!
@@Budgetiers I'll get to it and see how it goes. I have monitors mice and keyboard so I might try to sell it as an entire package deal. Also thank you for showing me that case, I have a 3rd build just screaming to get ready. I have a 9th gen i7 + RAM + SSD laying around I just need to buy a board, cooler case and GFX card and I can make another one. I'll use the case you mentioned its a great value and looks great!
@@nicolaspogacsas7271 Of course man! That case is for sure great value; it steps it up a notch!
Underrated af. Anyways your market is insane. In my country the max price i sold a 3600 and gtx1070 is 400€ and the build cost was 295€. The used PC prices here are so low and the used parts are pretty expensive. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Yeah a lot of places in the USA are great to sell tech at. It also helps that my competition are pre-built PCs with Ryzen 4500 and a 1080 selling for $1,200 💀
Amazing video. Production quality is impressive. Please continue this series! 😀

well, this video left me scratching my neck for more, insane carisma for a new youtuber, solid pacing on the video too, you are headed upwards my friend
Those are some nice words Matheus. Thanks so much!! Perfect timing on your end too, because Episode 2 is dropping today 👀
For the last build I sold I used a £15 3 pack of some PWM white, RGB thermalright fans and a £8 SATA RGB controller since there was no RGB header on the h610 motherboard. It's a pretty great combo to get RGB and quieter fans into a case if it maybe doesn't come with any
Great solution. Thankfully my one had an ARGB header so I used Thermalright fans. In motherboards without it, I’ve so far mostly used the stock molex fans that some cases come with. Thanks for watching!
@@Budgetiers Loved the video, your approach seems similar to mine with flipping. Will definitely be watching any more on the way!
@@GruelingFive8 thanks so much man! Great minds think alike 😎
Welcome to the world of PC flipping! One thing I will never understand is how the Facebook Marketplace algorithm works. Sometimes my expensive builds (over $1500) will get tons of views while my more budget ones get next to nothing, then the next week it's the other way around. Searching through Reddit and other internet forums didn't help either as no one apparently knows how it works.
Looking forward to more of your flips and experiences!
The algorithm is WILD man. Glad you stumbled upon my videos and you’re a cool guy! Excited to have you along!

Really great video! Keep and you will be at 100k in no time. Still dont how I feel about you pairing a 12100 with a 5700xt, but like you said, Frankenstein pc lol.
100k?! WOWZA send me this screenshot once we get there 😎 and yeah I can’t say I’m incredibly proud of that PC lol but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
Here I am embarking on my own journey as a new PC flipper, and yeah, it's kinda scary! I just dropped a huge chunk of savings on all these parts and I can only hope that I'll be able to make enough money on sales to make it worth it.
We'll see though! I have about half a dozen builds in the works, at various performance and price points, so it will be interesting to see how it goes 😎👍
HA and here I was, thinking that starting with 3 at once was too many. Best of luck!!
@@Budgetiers Thanks, mate!
It's certainly been an interesting ride so far.
I've sold 4 PCs at this point, and made a little bit of money on them. I could have received more but I've been selling exclusively online, and offering Afterpay, so fees have chewed into my profits a bit. It's a strong motivator to try to sell locally, that's for sure.
All in all, after a month I can see that there's definitely something to this though! I thought it would be a bit harder in my local market, but the proof is in the pudding. The customers are out there.
Now, 4 PCs sold, 10 to go 😬😅😂
Hope things have all been well on your end! 👍

@@Budgetiers ❤
have to know when to enter the market and when pull out...
Buy low sell high. Ez.
I've found in my area that 300 or less you sell pretty easily, any more than that and it's tough going.
Yikes, that’s rough. It’s definitely heavily libation dependent! But you can also change that 😎
damn are you me? pretty much the same reasons i got into pc flipping haha great video!
HEY JASON!! I really appreciate it man! Haha yeah, seems like a lot of people get into this journey from a similar starting point. Love your content so thanks for spending time watching mine!
You want to make money flipping pc's? Flip used cheap OEM's with Windows installed. Make them a little better than stock with a cheap video card, ram or storage upgrade if needed. Enthusiasts build their own pcs or buy them from a big company.
Yeah I know a lot of flippers on CZcams do a ton of those optiplex type flips.. I personally really like the ability to pick my own aesthetics/cases for the flips.
I have a much higher end computer with a 3070ti and get almost no attention even at 600 bucks. No way I am going lower. The market here absolutely sucks.
Yikes. That’s rough man, sorry! I’m lucky with my market for sure.
If I were you I would try my best to find a cheap 25-30 dollar cpu cooler to replace that ugly stock cooler. People nowadays know that the cooler sucks. its noisy and high temps. Besides, you will make the case look nicer with a better cool. Good luck! 👌
Great feedback. I go back and forth between stock cooler and the Thermalright $20 towers. They are definitely way better for looks and temps, but I do sometimes stick to the stock for an even tighter budget build!

@@Budgetiers yes brudda

Well if that isn’t the greatest compliment
Hi I just want to know how do you determine the price you sell your pcs ? I really like the idea of not charging an arm and a leg for pcs there is such an opportunity in my country as most people sell these pcs like 2x the price they bought the parts for its like really insane .
Great question! I try to always aim for about $200 profit minimum. I was fine with less when I first started, but have since realized that since I have to set aside about a third for taxes, I try to get $200ish POST tax, so sell at around at least $250 profit. But you can obviously do it however you want, based on your own market.
@@Budgetiers Thank you for answering my question. and yeah 200 dollars makes sense
Sub-freaking-scribed
Dang you went above and beyond! Thank you!
how are u even selling it for that much😪 I barely can sell my pc w a 2070 and a ryzen 3700x for 500
Dang, touch luck. Your local market has a lot to do with it. My area is very underserved in good quality PC stores and builders, so I stand out easily by building good PCs and bring a decent guy that people like to deal with.
Why did you spend so much extra on wifi?
Yeah that really was an unnecessarily big hit; I want to always provide WiFi to clients, so when I realized that there was no onboard WiFi on the Mobo and it had the slot for it, I wanted to get it right on there. Definitely not the best route, but hey, learning experience!
@@Budgetiers do you buy wifi chips?
I did for this one; I’ve used a few USB ones before. But 99% of the time I try to get a motherboard with WiFi, since it’s more than worth the price difference
@@Budgetiers extra wifi on motherboard costs 40 extra and a card is 20
@@Luxury-Investments you can get an ASRock B450M ac r2.0 for like $90. It’s usually hard to get a wifi-less Mobo and add WiFi for a better price than that. Also it has BT
Do you speak any other language?
I speak 3 languages my friend (obv 1 is English). Let’s see if you can figure them out throughout my videos. Spoiler alert: the next flipping video coming out this week will show you one of them
@@Budgetiers I think one of them is Russian
😳

more content like this please! I'd love to hear the in and outs of the business. I love building pc's and Ive always wanted to flip them as a hobby but i wouldnt even know where to begin. Ill definitely be coming back here man.
Hey thanks so much! This is precisely why I wanted to document my journey. Just really wanted someone to give an honest look into how this all works.
Right now and for the past half a year flipping pcs is HORRIBLE.
It's the best time to buy and worst time to sell, way too many devices and setups and clean barely used pcs on 2nd hand market going for half the retail price.
Yeah the last couple months have definitely been harder in my area as well. I think a combination of increasing parts prices and a tightening of people’s wallets as they start the year. I’ll definitely make an update video about the changing times! Thanks for watching.
Yeah after people spent all their recreational money during holiday season, traffic has been REAL slow. I personally have a R5 1600/RX 580 build listed for $409 that, due to some faulty parts I had to replace, cost me $400 to build. Oops. So now I’m struggling to break even on it, and it’s been sitting for almost 1.5 months now. I’m hoping that going into late spring/early summer my market will pick up a bit.
