- After successfully starting my PC Flipping journey and selling 8 PCs, I finally got discovered. People started messaging me to build them a PC directly. How did this happen? WELL. You need a portfolio and good reviews for credibility so that people can not only find you, but also trust you. Watch the video to see how I achieved exactly that.

As always the video is a banger!
What I liked most about this one was that you included snippets of the actual conversations with people, their requests, and your replies. Really shows you have great professionalism and makes for a great example of how to be professional for anyone looking to do what you are doing.
Thanks so much as always Shady!! And thanks for affirming those parts. I really want to start highlighting the logistics and real interactions more and more!
@@Budgetiers Can't wait to see what's next! No rush though - quality over quantity, right?
While he's not my favorite PC builder/flipper, Elijah's Lab does a nice job highlighting some of the travel and interactions with people if you need an example. Adding in some of the traveling and interaction would help take the video from more of story-telling to "seeing the journey".
Remember i was here before you became a millionaer and had a channel with under 500k subs
Love the videos btw you motivated me to start doing the same thing!
HA that will take such a long time, who knows what I’ll remember 💀 You really did?!!? NICE!! Best of luck!!
@@Budgetiers thanks
Loved the participation of the wife, reminded me a bit of jacksfilms
She is the backbone of everything in my life, so it only made sense lol. Thank you!!
3:32 I love this moment man! One of the best feelings when selling a pc. I sold one right before Christmas that was white and blue and the guy was buying it for his wife and when I pulled it out of my car, she was bouncing from foot to foot from how much she loved it and was excited to have it. Epic gamer moment for sure! Thanks for sharing yours!
We live for these Epic Gamer Moments 😎 Thanks for watching as always and for sharing my friend!
@@Budgetiers of course man! Keep up the good work!
Bro your channel is a gem. I'm glad I've clicked this video. This is a breath of fresh air for me from all the toasty bros vidz and ZTT's.
Thanks so much man!! I love the PC/Flipping niche. Must respect to those guys and the others in the space; I thoroughly enjoy bringing a different feel to this niche so thank you for enjoying it ❤️
Also super wholesome man - love the value you're bringing to your community and helping new PC gamers get into gaming without breaking the bank
REALITY GAMING
this channel will grow massive man, keep the simple format and jokes, props!
Thank you so much man!! I appreciate it
Before now I'd say I've only found one pc flipping channel I liked, now I can say 2! You just popped out of my feed, seemingly out of nowhere, but this video is awesome!
HIGH PRAISE! Thank you so much!!
When I decided to get back into gaming I contacted a local guy, he wanted all the money up front which I found odd I offered him a deposit and he repeated he needed it all upfront to which I said no. Just seemed to desperate for the money.
Yeah anything more than a deposit is 100% unnecessary. You dodged a bullet on that one!
Your videos are very well edited, and you make great videos about PC flipping you really deserve more subscribers, and views; And keep up the good work.
I really, really appreciate that. Thank you so much!!
Amazing video as always. Good to see that you have already reached 1k subs. Keep doing what you're doing
Thanks so much!! It’s been insane. So thankful for everyone giving up 10 minutes of their day :)
Killing it as always! Entertaining and seriously underrated!!!!
Thanks so much as always!!
Amazing video as always, I love how you have everything planned out like clockwork and you have a procedure you can consistently follow. I’ve never been a fan of the DIYPC cases, but now I’m starting to consider them for my future flips 👀
RAZER MY MAN! Haha I thought you were already a fish tank shill like me 👀 Thanks for the kind words man!
Another great video I've not interest in building and flipping PCs myself however I'm really enjoying watching your journey in doing so.
That’s fascinating actually; I definitely find myself watching content in fields that I have no interest trying out myself lol. The beauties of CZcams!
Loving the vids , motivation. Doing a bit of PC flipping of my own its going well so far already built/flipped and sold 5 pcs in the last 2 years its been a journey it's kind of difficult as I live in The Bahamas and I have to pay double shipping lol but I won't give up! Keep it up g
Oh lol! RESILIENCE MY FRIEND! Way to go!! Be proud of yourself and keep it up.
Oh yea for sure 👊🏽
Awesome video, as always. Any thoughts on shipping PCs? Will we see that soon 👀?
Thanks Ethan!! LOL I don’t think I’ll ship for a long time if ever. Seems like a hard task.
Duuude great video!
Again! Everything you are describing matches my experiences.
The wholesomeness part, the comissions, building up my "rep". I am still missing the website/portfolio part, but I did create like collages of different similar spec builds so I could easily share as screenshots. So far I have done like 3 comissions and only one person bailed on me, but I ended up selling the PC for more than what we had agreed initially :D
Maybe I will trust myself soon to start a CZcams Channel. Just trying to follow your steps :P... Btw on that note, I just got my first Fishtank case and am excited to see how much it impacts the interest on customers. Thanks for the tip! :)
I love your write ups. Keep them coming every video!!! (And let me know when you start your channel; I’ll be your first sub 👀)
Dude this video is awesome, loved the series so far. Keep going!
Thanks so much!
Love the series thank you for uploading!!!!, hope you reach 100k subs soon
Thank you so much!!!
Great series, keep them coming!
Very useful especially when I will be doing this in the near future, helps me get an idea on how to tackle certain things.
Glad you enjoyed the video AND that you actually took something away from it! Thank you!!
So good! 🔥And honestly pretty inspiring too! Seeing you tear up with the pic from the kid made me see how this is more than just a business. I want to see you grow bro! Hope the channel keeps getting recommends since it's so good!
Thank you so much Bartotes!!!!
The content you offer is amazing ive always wanted to start a side gig like this one thank you so much for the inspiration!!!
Thank you so much!!!! It’s SO fun but definitely take your time; don’t rush in and be patient!
@@Budgetiers definitely thank you for your advice
Nice man, stumbled on your CZcams channel from the ZTT discord. Keep it up man ❤❤
Thanks so much!!
Dang I forgot about my controller software, let me install that real quick

Haha danke!
0:27 bruh that looks like my house after scratching the pc flipping itch lmaooo
💀
another great vid!!
Appreciate you
Those $13 fans come in clutch! And they look nice!
They are 🐐 ‘d
From my experience those 15-20$ ARGB CPU Coolers really make a diffrence from a stock one, gives the build a much cleaner look.
Certainly! Both from a cooling and aesthetic stand point, almost always worth adding in.
Love your videos, I am just starting out PC flipping, Please make a video about the business side of PC flipping i want to be able to scale up down the road and turn this into a legit business, stuff like Windows Licencing, LLC, write-offs, taxes, etc it would really help us out
Thanks so much!! I will definitely tackle those in future videos. Seems like there is a huge need for that content in the community!
That LTT video was the first recommendation under this video lmao
💀
Love the video, and just subscribed, but I have some questions:
1. How expensive was the cpu? Where did you buy it from? Was it used? Did it come with a stock cooler?
2. Can you give a more detailed breakdown of the cost of components, specifically the $380 one? Which components were bought used?
1. I almost always get used CPUs. I buy them from eBay or my local Facebook marketplace. I usually don’t buy them with stock coolers, since they tend to add about $10 to the price, and at that point I’d rather get a Thermalright cooler for like $20, which adds incredible value for such a low price! The CPUs in this video for both are $70-80.
2. For that build, all parts were new except for the CPU and GPU (which is what I do with most of my builds.) The rest of the parts are essentially the same as what’s in my description as my template/what I showed on Episode 2 (the previous video.)
I definitely have to make more in-depth videos that go into the each part, so thanks for asking. Thanks also for watching and glad you enjoyed!
very cool and good to know!
Thank you!!
"dont say it like that!" 😂
She’s the real MVP 🤣
This guy is definitely an industry plant
I still subscribed though
💀 literally one of the best comments I’ve ever gotten (but I only have 3 videos worth of comments LOL)
Great video!
Thank you so much!!!
@@Budgetiers I honestly wish I could take classes from you😆😂 you make stellar content!
@@Red_Beard_Builds oh no there are enough CZcamsrs out there with “courses” 💀
Customer: "Is there a special thing for me to play games with a controller"
Me: Yes...normally that's an additional $75 charge...but I'll add it for an additional $25
“There is a monthly subscription fee of $100/month. Whenever you stop paying, I disable your controller software.”
@@Budgetiers 🤣🤣See..now, we're just being jerks. You're a good businessman!
@@TheLite0003 haha thanks man!!
Very interesting episode. Im surprised tho how cheap you can build PCs in the US ... I calculated roughly the price of the first system that cost you 380 to build, ... where I live it would be more around 450-470 to build that (with mostly used parts even). The supply for used parts here is also very low ... I was originally thinking of building some PCs just for fun and selling them with just a tiny bit of profit. Not sure if its worth it tho.
It is highly dependent on your local market for sure. Also you need to have patience with it. I’m okay with my PCs not selling for 1-2 months since this isn’t a full time job. Thanks for watching!!
Love keeping up with your journey, and your storytelling style!
Thanks so much! It means a lot.
Entertainment, also, the reviews thing hit me, i completely forgot to ask for reviews from customers 🤦 think its too late to ask (last sale was like a week a half ago)
I think you’re right at the “it could either be totally appropriate or omega weird” zone LOL
I loved building and research my gaming PC and this might have just inspired me to try this for myself, I have $1,500 I think I can invest into this (fun money), which might be able to cover three pc’s if I’m smart, just need to check local competition
ITS SO FUN!! Definitely make sure it’s fun money to start off (which looks like you already know!). I also highly suggest spending a few weeks checking FB Marketplace to see how many people list PCs/parts and how quickly they sell, what prices etc. Past searches helps but a lot of people delete their listings after sold, hence why I suggest you check everyday.
Interesting video! Might do the same.
It’s a good way to do it. Thanks for watching!
You should follow Elijahs Lab , he is also flipping PC's
I do! He’s one of the greats in this niche. Really look up to the dedication of guys like him and Zach
AYYY flip more.
I will never reach your level
Good video
Good comment
I've done similar now that I think about it. People will message me on one build that I've already sold (or will sell soon) and if I have a similar build coming up I let them know that and will give them first crack at it. If I haven't decided on the aestheticsI ask them what style they are looking for too so that I can tailor the build a bit to their wants/needs. And it's not a big risk to me, as like you said, it would have been a PC I would flip anyways.
No link to your website? It's something I want to try and build so I want to see what yours looks like!
It’s a natural progression of flipping successfully! And yeah no link as of now, but my wife definitely told me to make a whole another video on the branding alone lol
@@Budgetiers Oh I would be very interested in that! (and I'm sure other PC flippers would be too)
Branding wise all I've done is take good looking photos with the same background and consistently formatted descriptions so my listings all kind of have the same look compared to your run of the mill marketplace seller.
Thanks for sharing! By the way, what do you do when it comes to window keys? I'm thinking about using websites that sell them for $14 but I'm not sure.
Good question! Google Windows masgrave.
@@Budgetiers Word, thank you!
Where's that next video ma boy I've been waiting
Sorry brother. Life’s been crazy busy. You wrote at a good time today; episode 4 is this weekend 👀
your diff man
Dang thanks dude
W content
Thanks so much!! I appreciate it!
I got an RTX 2080 Ti for £150, very nice profit incoming lol
NICE FIND!! Bring in that cash money
When you build the PC, do you install and activate Windows or just install it?
Look up Windows Masgrave!
What Motherboard (with WiFI) are you using in your builds?
You can check out my description/previous videos for the parts that I use! For motherboards, I use Asrock B450m ac r2.0 or Gigabyte b450m DS3h WiFi
Would u say u live in a relatively high population area, or high tech like young people area? Might try this but where I live might be to “slow” and “old”
I definitely live in a non-techy area lol. It’s a double edged sword; there might be less interest, but I have basically no competition. So even though many of my listings stay on the market anywhere from 1-4 weeks at a time, they always sell (at least they have so far lol)
@@Budgetiers that’s what I thought right after commenting this, plus having more people that might buy a pc without knowing much about them. Thanks for the help!
I have nothing but issues with selling builds with an RX580 in! Because they don't support the card anymore with updates, customers were constantly messaging saying games either kept shouting at them to update the drivers (which aren't available anymore) or just kept glitching because the drivers weren't up-to-date . . . Safe to say I stear clear of the RX580 now . . . How do you get round this please mate?
Oh no mate! Full support hasn’t entirely stopped I believe so it shouldn’t be a huge issue for budget games playing only the esports titles. If customers and running into issues, perhaps try going back to the previous driver. I haven’t had any issues with mine. Sorry to hear that!
What software do you use to set the RGB? Or do you just use a hub with a remote?
Great question! I should definitely address this in the video. I almost always use the motherboard's RGB software. If I have too many components to where the mobo software doesn't work well, then I will look into OpenRGB.
@Budgetiers I appreciate it. I personally used msi's dragon center in a recent build I did and was wondering if other software acted sketchy like dragon center. Also wasn't sure if other software kept rgb colors the same when powering down and being unplugged since I know rgb hubs tend to not have this issue.
@@RectumAche Yeah most motherboard RGB software are notorious for being unstable. OpenRGB works really well from my experience.
@@Budgetiers thanks for the recommendation. I'll make sure to check that out!
I only ask for a $100 down payment for anything over $1000 just my personal rule
That seems plenty reasonable!
@@Budgetiers I’ve got burnt a couple of times and anything $1000 or over is hard to sale on Facebook
No one buys my pcs quick it takes forever and i barley get any profit
You definitely need patience. That’s why I think this is mostly a hobby; since my livelihood doesn’t depend on it, I’m okay sitting on PCs for 1-2 months if need be.
Thanks for sharing you secrets now will put you out of business muahah jk
This town ain’t big enough for the both of us 🤠
i wanna start flipping and already have all the knowledge but how do u promote the website and get like 8 builds on there at once? like how do u manage all of that?
Hey man! Great question. It can be tough to begin. I highly suggest you take it one step at a time; don't over extend yourself like I did lol. (Watch episode 1 of my flipping series if you haven't!) You can join the discord to ask around there; would be more than happy to discuss!
@@Budgetiers thanks for helping out man. already got a friend buying a pc in a week for like 110€ profit. isnt that much but i dont wanna make my buddy broke :)
