I struggle to make £2000 a month doing this full time 9/10 hour days and it ain’t hella easy but sharing the ❤ for flipping

That's a good wage, bro. I'm an approved electrician, which takes 6 years minimum and a lot of work to accomplish, and my wage after tax for a basic month (no overtime) is £2300.
Good job man. Its nice to see the entrepreneurial spirit in young people!
I would recommend testing out partial trades. Sometimes people have a lower end system or broken computer that they're looking to replace with the one you're selling. If you offer partial trades you can knock off a bit of money off the sale and get their old PC along with the remaining in cash. You combine the selling + buying process into one interaction saving yourself time and gas money you'd spend to buy parts/PCs separately, plus the other person would often times be very happy to save $100-300 and not have to deal with selling their old PC to someone else. Just stumbled across this channel and found it very informative! Definitely looking forward to future videos!
Thanks man! Will do, thanks for the advice.
This right here. I’ve done it before and found that by knocking off 100-200 and taking in older pcs (I’m strict on what I take) I can usually flip the trade in pc in the same day for way more than the discount I gave
What’s up bro. Have been building computers since 2017. You are nailing it out the park! This video will help out those who are playing with the idea of building their first build(we all know you will want to upgrade after a bit) and making some $$ on the side. Keep up the good work and you are going to be very succeful!
Thanks for your comment, good luck in your endeavors!
Wow! Great video! Great suggestions too.
thanks for the tips! I'm planning to build using used parts but I don't really know where to get bang for the buck prices, with this video it helped me, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed. Definitely check out FB and reddit hardwareswap, they're great resources.

great tips bro! i have been building/flipping pcs since i was abt 13 and its definitely a good way to make some decent money. all i’ll say is you gotta remember that if a deal is too good to be true then it probably is. theres lots of scamming in the pc part industry so just be on the lookout!
@enriqueamaya3883amen
kid definitely knows what he is doing, very smart kid. lots of good tips. I used to do this till around my area till the market got saturated, I was also selling in the same range. I got kind of sick of flakes because 80% were to flake on a deal.
Ugh, same.
I kinda wanna get into doing this after building my own pc. I’m used to working on cars so building the pc was way simpler and more fun lol and waaay less of a headache 🤣
Hell yeah brother
excellent work
Some great tips here for the aspiring builder/seller. Wish you luck in your endeavors.

Some solid tips in here, but imho it's definitely worth the extra scratch to get a solid PSU - problems with that means problems with EVERYTHING (and maybe even a fire as bonus!). Also need to re-look at your GPU pricing. Mid-grade starts around $400 or so.

thanks for the vid planning to flip sometime soon
Nice! Best of luck!
I think this a great video, very informative and you gave a good idea of your pricings. I suggest though when your editing that if you’re sharing your screen that you should have that displayed bigger and your facecam in the corner, since I’m struggling to read what your screen says

If youre in a well populated city or town the whole looking for buyers thing really doesnt matter. Its not just a certain class or age that wants a gaming computer. Espesically at that below $500 mark.
As far as the gpus the 5700xt, and you can get the RX 6600 it's pretty cheap new. Also the Intel Arc 750s have come down in price as well under $200 new those are some pretty good deals.
I was not expecting the music used in hypixel skyblock flipping guides in a pc flipping guide
Hey, How long does it actually take before you sell the computer?
nice vid
Nice vid, im planning on starting in the summer, overall do you think its worth the time or nah?
Absolutely, if you put the work and time in.
What’s your opinion on using eBay to ship and sell pcs? I’ve seen a possibility for a higher reach but there’s a higher risk with shipping
It's funny you comment this, actually. I just shipped my first rig the other week through Jawa. Everything arrived in one piece, but the buyer soon had an issue with the VGA debug LED flashing consistently. The guy's in the process of shipping it back for me to have a look at it, but there's definitely potential risk.
@@byteforcebuilds8213 That's the whole problem with Jawa/Ebay is the shipping costs for these big heavy items is so expensive. Good thing with Jawa though is if the customer does not say anything within the first two days of receiving the deal is finished unlike Ebay that gives the buyer 30 days.
Thanks for the vid. thinking about trying this. just wanted to point one thing out: it seems like your camera is out of focus the entire video, you may want to adjust the focus and make sure your face comes in more clearly! :)
lol, I notice that too. It's a bit difficult to rely on autofocus, as it's inaccurate sometimes.
I can't find the Montech X1 for anywhere under 80 bucks and amazon does not seem to even have it listed. Do you have any alternate cases that could be found online for a similar price point.
I get all of mine from a computer store near me, sometimes they even go on clearance for like $25. Check out the Rosewill Prisim S500 on Newegg, it's solid.

Hey I'm making my first gaming pc and then later create more pc's for other gamers. I wanna do this full time but I know it takes some process. any extra advice?
Personally wouldn't recommend doing it as a full time gig unless you're willing to consider shipping rigs out across the US. Local markets are too small to keep up with a sustainable level of profit. Besides what I've said in the video, my biggest piece of advice is to learn from your own mistakes. Most of the knowledge I've gained has come from me screwing something up and then troubleshooting the problem to gain the experience of doing so. Best of luck in your endeavors!
#ByteforceBuilds #Sub'd Please give examples of lower, mid, and upper range GPU's. For me, Higher end means RTX3080+. That's way above 100 bucks. Low end for me is an RX570 to GTX1070. Mid range starts at GTX1070Ti to the RTX3060Ti/3070. Please clarify if you get time? Much respect for such an energetic Young man! #Hustlin🤜🤛
hey bro i live in north new jersey in a middle/high class area and most of the gaming pc listings on fb marketplace are super low prices (people giving away their old or unused pc) or full setups for decent prices it kinda seems hard to compete is it still worth a try?
It's harder to compete among wealthier demographics, as people are definitely inclined to just buy a new PC off of Amazon, even though they may not be getting as good a deal. I would run a few tests, put together some mid range systems and see what you can get for them. If they don't sell in an efficient way, sell them off for what you paid for them to get them off your chest. That'd be a good way to gauge the interest of your population.
Nope!
Great video, instant sub from me.
guys if you young and still live with your parents take advantage if what he is saying!! It is real when you become an adult and move out and have to worry about bills before your vices and hobbies.

what are the best place's t buy these parts?
eBay, Facebook, and reddit's hardwareswap are nice
if you live in a high population area you can make good money making a pc off bay parts with some new parts. takes to long to sell stuff in my 18k population town. im in burillville northen rhode island near you not many ppl will drive from providence or boston to buy from me.
Im from PH and I only make 4000-5000 php as profit (80-100 USD) here in my local area. Is it a good profit or is it just average? I also noticed that 350-400 USD builds moves slower so I kinda stick to building 200-250 dollar gaming PCs. A lot faster than selling sub 400 dollar builds. Anyways, awesome video, man! Love from PH! 🇵🇭
That's awesome profit man! What do the specs of your $200-250 builds look like?
@@byteforcebuilds8213
i5 7500, h110m, 2x8 16gb bundle = 100 dollars
512gb ssd = 20 dollars
psu (anything 500 watts with 80+ certification) = 15-20 dollars
tempered glass case with argb fans = 25 dollars
rx 580, gtx 1650, gtx 1060 = remaining budget
GPU prices here in PH is kinda weird. 1060s usually go around for 90-100 dollars but gtx 1660s is always readily available for 100 dollars. rx 580s tho is really dirt cheap here. it goes for like 54-65 dollars

Ehhh buying used parts off Facebook to resell to other people is kinda sketchy… nobody except the previous user knows what they did with and how long they had these parts for in turn nobody else knowing for sure how long something might last, if it was tuned/boosted wrong and anything else. I understand you would test them but from the time you build it, test it and sell it isn’t enough time to for sure know if they’re getting a computer that’s gonna last more than a year or even a couple months
The big problem with used video cards is the fans can go out at any time and replacements from China are at least $10/$15 each!
Mr northeastern should be studying physics midterm instead of making money
K grandpa
You're either jealous, or mad he's stealing your potential customers, lol.
My passive ad for custom build services got taken down by FB Marketplace. That actually hurt quite a bit, because that ad generated a lot of builds for me.
I'm about 99% sure that another builder reported it to get taken down. All of the other local builders' passive ads are still up (everyone has one). They're actually against FB Marketplace rules.
Watch out for the other builders in your area, some of them are just gonna be dickheads.
It's happened to me a bunch, wondering if that's why 🧐. To make good business you do have to be a bit cutthroat, but that's just unethical imo.
35-40 on the psu Is too low imo, you want to make sure the psu is good quality
You used to until recently be able to get EVGA B stock power supplies for $29.95 (600W bronze) fully certified with one year warranty!
@@davidg2731 EVGA is once again saving the day.
Do you really make 2 grand a week building pcs in this economy?
Flip ten a week, and yes.
You make people meet you at a police station.. that's adorable... I can't even....
Yeah, rather that than get held up by some crackhead off the marketplace lmao
I meet right across from one, there's a dominos there, it's safe and convenient. I live in a suburban area and we are getting an uptick in break-ins, shootings, robberies, etc. Then if you push out to a wider local area you've had Door Dashers getting robbed/kidnapped/murdered and the same is happening to people selling on local seller/reseller apps. My state isn't even in the top 10 for violent or property crime. This isn't 5 years ago, crime rates have risen in the states and the same goes for the percentage of random violent crimes. What's not cute is people getting robbed at gunpoint over items valued as little as $100, so how much do you think the probability of crime increases when you're selling $500+ electronics to random people online?
Christ, sucks to hear. People are dicks.
No way you said 3060 is a high end Gpu
