Hey quick clarification, I originally said these crash bars were also available for "Dynas and Sportsters" but it looks like they are only for Dynas and Softails 🤙

My bike has been in two accidents With this crash bar and you can never even tell all I did was get the crash bar re-powder coated and my bike is good to go.
Really? Thats insane! sorry you've had bad luck but its also nice to know this will protect the bike!
@@TWO-TIRED My last accident put me out for a while and the crash bar was just scratched a little but from now on this is a must have on all my bikes. This product has paid for itself multiple times with me
What about primary cover? Is it not to narrow at the bottom to prevent the scratches?
These are too narrow to protect your costly pegs, pipes and anything else crash bars are installed to protect. This is a cosmetic only install. Great vid :)
I disagree, these combined with the handlebars will protect the gas tank and the primary, who cares about pegs, pegs will always hit the ground first. as far as exhaust, I plan on getting the bung king rear sliders, so all in all the expensive and important stuff will be protected. I’m willing to lose a little protection for better ground clearance for high speed canyon riding! Anyway thanks for watching! 🤙🏼
Looks like the wrap is holding up well, ive had a roll of the deep space 3m vinyl sitting in the garage for about 6 months now waiting to go on the dyna. Starting to see a new softtail in my near future though so might have to save it for that.
Right on man I have the same crash bar for my fxbb and love . What i dig about it is it’s got the same styling and shape as the oem. Crash guard from 80-90s just slimmed down ….I’m curious how much it would protect if dropped lucky I haven’t found out haha I’m guessing the engine and tank ?
Also is that a Arlen ness big sucker? plan on getting one . Wanted to ask what you think and how did you tune one you put that on for the stage 1 ? I have tbr turnout but stock intake right know

Exactly, its like stock but way more low profile! It looks like they are wide enough to protect the primary and these mixed with the handle bars should protect the tank (at least I hope so) I might end up buying rear sliders to get a little more protection though, we'll see!
Yeah I run the Big Sucker with the Vance and Hines FP3 tuner. Its fairly inexpensive and was super easy to install. The FP3 didn't have my Cobra pipe on the list of tunes, so I just did the map called "Generic 2 into 1 with High Flow Air Filter" and I've had zero issues, bike is waay more responsive and it removes the governor so it can do 120mph with no issues now. You'll notice an instant power difference. It woke my bike right up. I'd like to get a Dyno Jet Power Vision tuner someday to get the most out of a tune, the FP3 is good for basic stuff but not the most versatile.

Also would I loose my warranty if I went with the fp3 I’m trying to decide if I should just go that rougt or have Harley do it when they do my oil change and all what your advice on that man
@@STAYHUMBLE302 Oh yeah it will definitely void the warranty, I know once Harley plugs your bike in at the dealership, it will flag and instantly void if the ECU has been changed. Some dealerships are cool and will still do warranty work and wont ever plug it in, and some just aren't cool about it at all. So its definitely a risk. If you don't want to risk it, just have the dealership tune it.
Your bike will be perfectly fine I was in two accidents with this crash bar and all I had to do was re-powder coated it I also have the bunking sliders for the rear.
